  I'm mad at myself for being so late with my review. I am in love with this place! From the customer service to the food itself! It genuinely feels like you are family here and takes me back when my elders were still here and cooking every Sunday! I'm so happy we stopped here! Thank you so much and I will be seeing you all very soon! Btw I had a fried pork chop, fried wings, collard greens and garden rice. My boyfriend fried chicken thighs and drumsticks, a salmon cake,collard greens and mac and cheese. We also had the cabbage which was the best I ever had. We were so full and happy 😊

  The turkey wings are my favorite! I haven't had them in a few years. The green beans and mashed potatoes were equally delicious. The cornbread was not to my liking but overall a great meal.

  Oh man the food was very good. The lady at front desk is pretty, very nice and helpful since it was my first time there.

  A Little Feedback ❤️ This has usually been our go-to spot for soul food. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff has always been friendly, which is why we continue to come back. That said, the last few visits have been a little frustrating. We’re often told 15–20 minutes, only to end up waiting close to an hour, if not longer because more chicken needs to be fried. I completely understand Sundays can be hectic and that fresh chicken takes time—trust me, nobody wants rushed chicken. 😂 But when you’re spending $100–$150 each visit, it’s disappointing to watch several people who ordered after you receive their food while you’re still waiting. Today, we were on a time crunch, so we asked if we could just take whatever part of our order was ready. Unfortunately, we still ended up leaving without all of the chicken we had actually paid for and no compensation. We absolutely understand that restaurants get busy, and we’re not expecting anyone to perform miracles in the kitchen. But a little better communication, order organization, and making sure customers receive what they paid for would go a long way. The food is still 🔥—we just hope the customer service catches up with it. Because at this point, we’re apparently waiting for the chicken like it’s on a pilgrimage. 😂🐔
