  🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely AMAZING Service from Newminn! 🎉❤️ We came to Dave & Buster’s to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and from the moment we were seated until the very end of our dinner, Newminn was absolutely incredible! 🙌🏽 He wasn’t just an amazing server—he was genuinely one of the funniest, most personable, and entertaining servers we’ve ever had! 😂 He had us cracking up throughout our entire meal and made what was already a special night even more memorable. His energy, personality, attentiveness, and sense of humor were unmatched! Newminn checked on us throughout the meal, made sure we had everything we needed, and somehow managed to make great service feel effortless while keeping us laughing the entire time. You could tell he truly enjoys what he does and takes pride in making sure his guests have a great experience. ❤️ Our anniversary dinner could have simply been a nice meal, but Newminn turned it into an experience we’ll be talking about for a long time! 🥰 Dave & Buster’s is truly lucky to have someone like Newminn on their team! If management sees this, please know that he deserves to be recognized for the incredible job he’s doing. Employees like him are what make customers want to come back! Newminn, thank you for making our anniversary night so much fun! We appreciate you and your amazing energy!   I want to give a huge shoutout to Matthew, the Operations Manager at Dave & Buster’s in Freehold! He provided absolutely outstanding customer service and went above and beyond to make our visit special. My five-year-old nephew had his heart set on certain prizes from the arcade and, as you can imagine, had A LOT of questions and requests. 😂 Matthew was incredibly patient, accommodating, and kind throughout the entire experience. He never made us feel rushed or like our questions were a bother, and he went out of his way to help make my nephew happy. It’s not often you come across someone in management who is this patient and genuinely great with kids. Matthew deserves recognition for his professionalism, positive attitude, and exceptional customer service. He truly made a difference in our experience! Thank you, Matthew, for being so accommodating and making my nephew’s day! Dave & Buster’s is lucky to have you!

  Your classic D and B experience, loud full of children and lots of arcades. I would recommend that you get more claw machines and lower the volume.

  We’ve been frequent patrons of Dave & Buster’s since this location opened and have typically loved our experiences, which is why this visit was especially disappointing. We sat at the bar and were completely ignored for over five minutes before Deb finally greeted us. She was the one who came over and asked what we wanted to order, but we hadn’t even been given menus. We were essentially expected to know what we wanted before being given the opportunity to look at the menu. Unfortunately, from that point on, Deb’s attitude was rude overall and made the experience extremely uncomfortable. I wasn’t asked for ID until I ordered a Dr Pepper. I repeated, “A Dr Pepper?” because I was confused about why I was suddenly being asked for identification. Deb then walked away without really explaining anything. Not even five minutes later, two guests who appeared noticeably younger than us came and sat at the bar and weren’t asked for ID. Whether there is an age/ID policy for the bar or not, the inconsistent way it was handled was confusing and frustrating. Jaden, the other server, essentially ignored us as well. He seemed much more interested in talking with patrons he appeared to know. We have absolutely no issue with staff talking to regulars or friends, but completely overlooking other customers who are waiting to be acknowledged is not acceptable service. We also paid using our points, and even our attempt to get assistance with that came across with an attitude. When our food arrived, we weren’t given plates, napkins, or utensils. It took the manager noticing before we were finally given what we needed. I understand there was a fight happening on tv at the time, but the bar itself wasn’t particularly busy and there weren’t many people ordering. The biggest issue was the overall attitude from Deb. She was rude and dismissive throughout the experience, and the way we were treated was completely unnecessary. We’ve been coming to Dave & Buster’s for a long time and have typically had great experiences, so this visit really stood out for all the wrong reasons. As someone who frequently visits Dave & Buster’s, this experience genuinely turned me off from coming back. I would rather wait until Topgolf opens in Neptune than continue dealing with service like this.
