  Dave & Buster's Freehold — Where $75 Becomes 3,000 Tickets, Which Somehow Becomes a $2 Rubber Duck. Rabboisai, I believe I've discovered one of the greatest financial Chakiros of our generation. Dave & Buster's. You walk in as a respectable, financially responsible Yungerman. Within ten minutes, you're screaming at a basketball machine like your entire family's Parnassah depends on making the next shot. The place is gevaldig. Flashing lights, racing games, basketball, arcade machines, and enough noise to make a packed Bais Medrash during first Seder sound like a library. But the real genius is the payment system. You exchange actual American dollars for arcade credits, which you then exchange for tickets, which you eventually exchange for a rubber duck. Three separate transactions, and somehow you're the only one who loses money. Even the Gemara in Bava Metzia doesn't have a Sugya this complicated. And then there's the claw machine. You spend $20 trying to win a stuffed animal worth $4. Every time the claw drops it, you convince yourself that you've finally figured out the Svara. "Ahhh! Now I chap! The angle was wrong!" Another $5. At some point, this stops being Hishtadlus and starts becoming a serious Shailah of Baal Tashchis. Then comes the prize counter. You've accumulated 3,000 tickets! You're walking over like a Gvir about to dedicate a new Bais Medrash. The fellow behind the counter explains that you're eligible for a pencil, three Tootsie Rolls, or a rubber duck. The Bluetooth speaker? 85,000 tickets. L'maaseh, it would've been cheaper to buy the entire electronics department at Walmart. But here's the funny thing: Despite the financial Churban, it's actually a blast. Plenty of games, loads of entertainment, and a geshmake way to spend time with family or friends. Just establish a firm budget before entering. Preferably with two Eidim and a signed Shtar. Five stars. I walked in with $75 and walked out with a rubber duck. The duck is worth $2. The experience was priceless. The Cheshbon is Tzrich Iyun.

  Vick was amazing, she totally changed my life. The other night I came in right after my 12 year marriage ended and she made me believe that I would be okay again one day. I’ve never experienced such positive vibes and natural charm. She deserves the highest of raises and the most tips of anyone that’s ever served before, truly outmatched service. 10/10 will come again.
