8/16/26 Sunday. Went in excited to try out the Karachi Street food with a amazing decor. The decor is what got my attention in the first place. Extra points for them having a dedicated space for prayer! I have to say that I was pretty disappointed with the food! The beef bun kabab had lots of bread and a tiny patty, that left much to be desired. The taste was OK. The homemade kulfi doesn't even come close to the ones we had in PK. The kheer was actually pretty good with pistachio and not overly sweet. The beef chapli burger again had two very thin deep fried patties that left much to be desired and reminded me of a pure chapli taste we get in PK. The French fries came w/o any masala and I asked for it separately. The bihari beef roll was quite small like small portion sizes of other things. Things are on the pricier side with small portions in general. I understand that its challenging to run a place like this but I think they can do better! Overall I think they can do so much better if they improve these few things. Willing to give them another try but not too excited for it anymore as I drove over an hour to make it there from NY.

As a Karachite myself, I can honestly say that Burns Road Food truly delivered the flavors and experience we’ve been craving! We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend brunch, the dishes felt thoughtfully curated, authentic, and full of the kind of flavors that take you right back to Karachi. The service was wonderful, and there’s plenty of room to comfortably accommodate large families, which we really appreciated. The owner also came around personally to ask for our thoughts, and that genuine effort to connect with guests made the experience even more special. I’m so grateful to have someone bringing the cuisine we love to NJ and, more importantly, presenting it in the way we actually crave it. Everything felt intentional, flavorful, and rooted in the food culture we know and love. Highly recommend Burns Road Food, especially if you’re from Karachi and looking for those familiar flavors with a truly curated touch. We’ll definitely be back

A Taste of Pakistan šŸ‡µšŸ‡°ā¤ļø We were in the area and decided to stop by Burns Road for some Pakistani favorites—falooda and bun kebab—and I’m so glad we did! I’ve actually been going to the original location in Spotswood, NJ, since the owners first started, and I fell in love with their food, authentic flavors, and the genuine passion they put into their cooking. Seeing how they’ve expanded into this beautiful new location is amazing! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and so patriotic—it genuinely feels like you’ve stepped right into Pakistan. šŸ‡µšŸ‡° The owners are wonderful, the service is excellent, and they truly go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. We ordered the falooda and bun kebab, and both were absolutely delicious! ā¤ļø And while we stopped in for snacks this time, Burns Road is so much more than just Pakistani street food. They have a full variety of Pakistani cuisine. Whatever Pakistani food you’re craving, they have it! From traditional dishes to street food favorites and desserts, there’s something for everyone. If you’re looking for authentic Pakistani food, a beautiful atmosphere, and genuine hospitality, definitely check out Burns Road! You will not be disappointed. šŸ‡µšŸ‡°ā¤ļø Wishing the owners continued success with this beautiful new location!

We visited Burns Road on a Tuesday evening with out-of-town guests, and unfortunately, this visit was quite disappointing. We’ve been here a few times before for the buffet and had a satisfactory experience, so we were hoping for the same consistency this time. We ordered the dahi bharey, chaat, bun kebab, naan, and a full chicken karahi. The naan was actually great, but the karahi portion felt very small for the price and honestly should have been a much more generous serving. The chaat was especially disappointing, the choley were hard and covered in dahi with no papri, the dahi bharey had an unpleasant aftertaste, and the bun kebab was very bland and lacked flavor. The service was also extremely slow. We also noticed that the restaurant could have been cleaner, as there were a few flies around, which took away from the overall experience. I’m sharing this as genuine feedback because we really do want to see Burns Road succeed. We wish the food quality, portions, service, and cleanliness were more consistent. It was especially unfortunate since we had out-of-town guests with us and really wanted them to have a great Pakistani food experience.

There's no such thing as authentic Pakistani food in the US. Anyone making this claim either knows nothing about Pakistani food or they're blatantly lying. Variety 10/10 Flavor 2/10 Nihari 2/10 Mutton korma Negative -10/10. Yes. Negative. Shadi wala korma also Negative -10 3 different style BBQ 1/10. Chat masala? Naan 7/10 Chicken nuggets? Didn't get to try. Service 7/10 Atmosphere 3/10 TVs in a restaurant? Same paindu boomer style. Ambience will remind you of your old age. It's like some boomer or GenX designed it who are still stuck in the 1960s. The place was almost empty. If they do catering business they'll survive otherwise I have no clue how they'll pay the rent with empty restaurant on a nice sunny day on a Saturday. This place is definitely for the people who have never eaten at legit places in Karachi. Absolutely tasteless food. Most people can make all these dishes at home with far more flavor and love. Buffet for $127 for 4 people and no one liked the food. I would not repeat. $30 per person isn't going to kill you so if you think my review is not legit then knock yourself out. You'd be utterly disappointed. They also sell Coke which is officially on the BDS boycott list so clearly their morals are also missing with the flavors. Good luck finding barakh in your business.
