  Not sure what happened. Haven’t been here in a few months. Last time we here, food and service was great. We went last night and what a complete 180. Our waitress seemed to be very pushy and was rushing us every time she came by. I ordered a PT grilled chicken sandwich. Took one bite and it was terrible. Tasted like a mouth full of oregano. Didn’t touch it. The waitress seemed uninterested when she asked if I needed a box and I declined telling her it was horrible. My son wasn’t a fan of the chicken parm which he’s gotten many times before and loved. My husband’s wrap was tiny compared to what it used to be and for $18 not worth it at all! Really just not a good experience which is a shame because it was so good in the past.

  If I could give lower than a one star I would. The absolute worst service I have ever had. Bar tender was rude. Ignored us the entire time. I had to hunt her down just to pay the tab. She just spend the entire time leaning on the bar talking to people who I assume she was friends with. We had to ask multiple times for the bill and a box. And even then was given an attitude. I always give people the benefit of the doubt especially when it’s crowded, but it was dead (I now know why) and we were still waiting forever just to pay because the bar tender couldn’t be bothered to pay attention to anyone other than one group. I also find it strange that our drinks were served to us without even being opened. I guess that is also too much to ask. I don’t have a bottle opener on me, but I guess I am supposed to supply one. Also, please know I am not someone who ever complains, I have a kid who is a bartender so I am overly compassionate for anyone who works in the service industry, because people suck, but 100% this was the worst!!!! Food wasn’t bad, but with that kind of service we will never be back.

  So I never liked this bar when the previous owners ran it. The food was ok and the service sucked. Our friends said that they had new owners and insisted we give it another try so we did. This time it was our feiends who suggested it and another couple. We get there at 9pm on a Thursday night and there is a d.j. blasting music just like it use to be. The six of us sat at a table and after 20 minutes with no one approaching us we got up and left. As we are leaving someone notice and approched us but it was too late. We left and went to Applebee's which is pretty good. So Pine tar lost out on a $300.00 tab and honestly nothing had changed. Maybe when the third owners take over they will get their act together. Nice try pine tar but its time to take care and comb your hair. Honestly if you didn't show up before there is no reason to show up now. Charlie browns had a better following and they ultimately went out of business so there is that to think about!

  Small place music didn't need to b so loud but food was great!
