- PDPhil DeBasket4 days ago2.01st…. We’ve enjoyed Chick-fil-a, going back 10-15 yrs ago, to our first experience in Hagerstown, Md. driving our 3 teenagers to WVU. The wife and I took the grandkids to Flemington, NJ store this afternoon for lunch. Napkins and Ketchup self serve at register were empty. I informed the black shirted young lady at the drive thru facing register of status. She responded affirmatively. At least 10-12 minutes later went back for additional ketchup and both self serve buckets still empty!! The red shirted young man at main register responded by bringing me 2 ketchup packets….. training and customer service is lacking here. A great food concept deserves great attention to detail… otherwise it becomes just another food concept..

What stood out immediately was how calm, friendly, and professional the entire staff remained, even during a very busy rush. The restaurant was packed, but the employees still treated customers with patience, positivity, and genuine kindness. Manager Ryan was especially impressive. He wasn’t just standing around supervising — he was actively helping his team, bringing food to tables, checking on guests, and making sure everything continued running smoothly. Even with the pressure of a busy crowd, he stayed smiling, upbeat, and incredibly professional the entire time. It’s rare to see that level of leadership and customer service anymore, and it made a huge difference in the overall experience. The food was fresh, hot, and prepared really well. The fries were excellent as always, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Every employee we interacted with was attentive, welcoming, and seemed to genuinely care about making customers feel appreciated. Overall, this was one of the best Chick-fil-A experiences we’ve had in a long time. The combination of great food, strong leadership, friendly staff, and a positive atmosphere really made this location stand out.
