Had to leave here Friday night before we got our food. Our waitress didn’t let us know that the wait was OVER 1 hour and 45 minutes for some chicken wings. We were one of seven tables in her section that got up to leave. Don’t need to name drop here she seemed to not really care about her job what so ever. And at one point had a severe breakdown. Hopefully management can get her the help she needs.

Edit: The waitress or another restaurant worker found me on Facebook, and sent me harassing messages claiming to be a customer. Quite honestly, the level of service and apparent lack of management oversight was shocking and completely unacceptable. Our waitress, did not come to our table until approximately 20 minutes after we were seated. We immediately pointed out spilled mustard on the floor near us. Her response was, “I don’t know how to clean that up, sorry.” That alone was concerning, but unfortunately, it was only the beginning. We placed our drink order, and somehow had to place it twice. Our waitress came around the table multiple times appearing completely confused about what we had ordered. We ordered nachos as an appetizer, two orders of wings, and chicken tenders. Everything from this point forward was more so a management issue and not specific to our waitress. Our waitress was definitely run thin, and she was stressed. We then waited approximately one hour for our food. This delay was especially serious because my mother is diabetic and became so weak while waiting that she nearly fainted due to the lack of food. A customer should never be placed in a situation where a medical condition is put at risk because the restaurant cannot provide food within a reasonable amount of time. When the nachos finally arrived, they were absolutely freezing. I am not exaggerating when I say the chicken on the nachos tasted as though it had just come out of a refrigerator. This was not food that had simply cooled off while sitting on the table—it was served completely unacceptable. Meanwhile, the table next to us had been waiting even longer and had only just received their appetizer. Other tables were experiencing the same issue. At one point, it appeared that roughly half of the dining room was getting up and leaving. This was not simply a case of one slow table or an isolated mistake. The entire restaurant appeared to be completely overwhelmed and without adequate staffing or management control. When we finally asked our waitress for our check because we simply wanted to leave, her response was extremely unprofessional. Rather than handling the situation appropriately, she became argumentative, gave us an attitude, and said she “didn’t want to start problems.” We then requested a manager. Jack was the apparent manager on duty. To his credit, he did remove the charge for the cold nachos, and we paid for our drinks. However, that does not address the much larger issue of how a Buffalo Wild Wings location was allowed to operate in this condition. If a restaurant is so severely understaffed or overwhelmed that customers are waiting an hour or more for food, a diabetic customer is nearly fainting from the delay, appetizers are being served ice cold, orders cannot be remembered, floors are left with spilled food, and customers are leaving in frustration, something needs to be done immediately. If you do not have enough employees to operate the restaurant properly, call for help. Bring in additional staff. Find a solution. And if that is not possible, there needs to be a serious conversation about whether the restaurant should even remain open under those circumstances. I am not looking for a generic apology or a standard customer service response. I am specifically requesting a phone call from the district manager responsible for this location. I would like to understand how this restaurant was permitted to operate this way and what is going to be done to prevent other customers from having the same experience. Tonight was not merely “bad service.” It was an unacceptable breakdown of basic restaurant operations, customer service, and management.

Tonight was a delightful experience at BWW. Though it was Friday and very busy, my server, Kylie, was super apologetic about the wait times for the food. She made sure to check back with us on what we got to drink/what we were waiting for, which we really found helpful!! She seemed pretty backed up (her section appeared to be full) so it was no rush for the service. If you're expecting to go in and out on a FRIDAY NIGHT, don't go then. There was some spilled sauce but in a restaurant that is trying to seat you fast that's bound to happen. Food was good as always. Excited to come back soon!
