  The food was great, but the service really missed the mark. Our meals took over 45 minutes to come out, and several tables that were seated after us received their food first. Our waiter only took our order at the beginning and never checked on us again. I had to ask other staff members multiple times just to get water or a Diet Coke. I think the restaurant has a strong product, but since this is their second location, they really need to focus more on staff training, hospitality, and running a smoother operation. The food is good — the overall experience just wasn’t managed well.

  Had a great experience with BITE Food & Coffee Co.. The atmosphere here is really well done—modern, clean, and energetic without feeling overwhelming. It’s the kind of place that works equally well for a quick coffee stop, lunch meeting, or relaxed dinner. The menu feels fresh and thoughtfully put together, and you can tell there’s real attention to quality and presentation across the board. Issa took amazing care of us throughout the visit—friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Even though the place was closing soon, he still made sure we had a great experience and never made us feel rushed, which really stood out. The owners were also a pleasure to talk to and gave the place a very welcoming, community-oriented feel that really adds to the atmosphere. This spot definitely brings something unique to Fair Lawn. If you’re looking for a modern café and restaurant with great service and a strong atmosphere, this is absolutely worth checking out

  A bit disappointed today. I ordered the tiramisu latte and hot chocolate and both were cold. we waited an hour for our food. The food is always amazing. But very under staffed. On special occasions there should be at least 5-6 waiters.

  On the menu it did not mention anything about my salad being spicy. When it came it was so spicy I dead could not eat it. It was the girls third day there so I’ll give her that but the service could have been better and she didn’t really know what she was doing and you could tell. My friend asked for no guacamole with her meal and they just put in on it and scraped it on and served it to her. The tip was included in the balance of our meal and our server did not tell us that and was still expected to tip extra on top of the tip that was in the total. I don’t think me nor my friends will be going back to this establishment.

  This is the third time I’ve had food here and everytime I order the Essex cheesesteak. Even though it is 21 dollars, it is usually exceptional and worth the money. This time, I arrived and when I ordered my drink they gave a me dirty cup with gunk all over it. I kindly asked them for another one. I then ordered my food and the second it arrived I could tell it was nothing like I usually receive. I tried to stomach half of it but I couldn’t sit here and pay 21 dollars for a cheesesteak I can get that is better quality and cheaper at Jersey Mike’s. I then asked if they could fix it , to which they only fixed half of the sandwich. While paying, I expected to get some form of discount for the food and drink both being extremely worse than expected but instead I had to pay the full bill plus the outrageous automatic 20% gratuity. I am beyond upset and would not recommend that anyone comes here.
