I don't normally like to criticize about places online, especially for a national chain. However, it is worth pointing out that I went on April 19 to the location to pick up breadsticks, which of course was delicious.
However, the location has seen better days, despite that it was my first time coming to this location, but there seemed something off entering. For starters, I noticed immediately a glass partition with a speaker, and for some odd reason, it seemed like I was walking either into a police station or a prison, where I had to address a person through the speaker, despite the opening at the bottom of the partition. That speaker caused so many reverberations, that there was noise emitting while the cashier was putting the change into the till. The noise was killing a store that had a pretty good decor based on the photos from 2017 to what it is now.
However, my issue is with the person who was in the store, which I am not sure if he was the only one. What I found odd and somewhat discouraging was that not once for the five or so minutes I was in the building to get the breadsticks did he actually say a single word at all. Not even a hello or goodbye, and honestly, I got the vibe that either he did not want to come into work, or he felt bothered that someone came in for an order on a Sunday morning. Quite frankly, that is probably even ruder than someone actually acting rude, because silence seems to tell a story, and also there would be no reason to think under any circumstances that an individual who would have a medical condition that forces him not to talk would be alone under any condition. In my opinion, it is likely that the individual had a demeanor not to talk.
I had to tell it as I saw. Hope this location can improve and do better.
