  Come on, Papa John’s! This is something we never expected from you. The way our order was handled honestly made us wonder if we were being scammed. I usually don’t like writing negative reviews, but this was such a horrible and disappointing experience that I felt I had to share it. We ordered one vegetarian pizza and one non-vegetarian pizza. After receiving our order, we were shocked to see that all the non-vegetarian toppings had been removed from our order—even from the COMPUTER/ORDER system. How did you manage that? It took around 20–25 minutes for our pizzas to be prepared. While waiting, I noticed that there were no non-vegetarian toppings on any of the other pizzas being prepared either. It seemed like they were out of non-vegetarian toppings. If that was the case, why didn’t they simply tell us? Instead, the toppings were apparently removed from our order without informing us. When we confronted an employee about it, his response was extremely rude: “Take whatever you have got.” Mistakes can happen, and running out of an ingredient can happen too. But silently removing items from a customer’s order and then responding rudely when asked is completely unacceptable. We should have been informed and given the choice to change our order or cancel it. This experience was extremely disappointing. One thing is for sure—we are never going to order from this Papa John’s again.

  This location is extremely unpredictable. We order from here regularly and have found that within the last few months the pizza is rarely ready within the expected window, although the app has it marked as “ready”. The pizza has been good at times, but more than once we have received food that looks like it was made and just reheated. It would be great to be able to rely on a consistent experience, the standards definitely need to be raised!

  Terrible experience and unprofessional service I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my visit to this Papa Johns location in Edison. This was honestly the worst customer service experience I have ever had. My husband and I visited this branch and waited for nearly an hour for just two pizzas. When we politely asked about the delay, we were met with shocking disrespect. The older gentleman working at the counter was not only incredibly slow and inefficient but also completely unprofessional. Instead of addressing our concerns, he was extremely rude and disrespectful. To our disbelief, he even resorted to verbal abuse and insulted my husband and me simply because we inquired about our order. The lack of basic respect and the appalling behavior we encountered is absolutely unacceptable for any business. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this branch if you value your time and dignity. We will certainly never return.
