    extremely unprofessional and disrespectful experience I had today at the Charleys Cheesesteaks location inside Menlo Park Mall in Edison, NJ. I ordered a Chicken Teriyaki sandwich, however I could not see any teriyaki sauce on the sandwich when it was prepared. When I politely pointed this out, the employee preparing the food became visibly upset, grabbed the meat out of the sandwich, and threw it into the trash in front of me instead of simply correcting the issue professionally. He then prepared another sandwich but added an excessive amount of teriyaki sauce in what appeared to be a sarcastic and retaliatory manner. When I calmly stated that it was now too much sauce, the employee again threw the sandwich away, despite me never asking for it to be discarded. At that point, the manager came from the back and, instead of attempting to resolve the matter professionally, rudely asked me in front of other customers whether I was “going to pay for both sandwiches.” She further stated she was not making another sandwich and completely refused to assist in resolving the issue. I found the entire interaction extremely disrespectful, embarrassing, and unnecessary. The manager also refused to provide her name or the General Manager’s name when requested. As a paying customer, I expect professionalism and basic respect when raising a simple concern about an order. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed by corporate leadership and/or the franchise owner, including review of any available surveillance footage from the time of the incident. I would appreciate follow-up regarding how this matter will be addressed.

    Charleys has always been good but prices are always going up. I see at a certain time, the cashier doesn't take orders so you have to use the Kiosk which upset a few customers, so they left.

    We had a very bad experience today in this location. First of all, cashier had his airpods on and was using his phone all the time. Yes, we kept adding more stuff but cashier was unresponsive and was not waiting long enough for us to respond. Second of all, girl assembling the sandwich kept messing up. She missed the second sandwich we ordered and when she asked if we wanted mayo, lettuce and tomato, my mom had to take a minute to respond and then begins to curse. She said “ay dios mio” and then proceeds to keep yelling at us. We ask for ketchup packets and tells us that we have to pay for it. She messed up our order already and she’s still yelling at us and telling us to stop. Rudest employee ever. I will not come back to this location anymore. Employees need more training

    This is a good place to eat if you want to remain anonymous. Fast food places are famously low on customer interaction, but Charley's Cheesteaks has introduced a new concept: absolute zero customer interaction. You order from a kiosk. Even though the kiosk asks your name, you don't have to worry about the staff calling your name out, or even your order number. So you wont hear "Hi, how are you?" when you walk up or "Enjoy your meal!" when they hand it to you. No. They wordlessly put your order on the counter and walk away. Even when I asked "Is this the order for Brian?" because I didn't want to take someone else's meal, I got a one syllable response: "Ya." I'm not sure if they were disrespecting me because I only tipped 10%, but who tips at a fast food place anyway? Maybe they just treat everyone like crap. Anyway, if you're a moviestar and don't want to be recognized, your disguise is safe here. They can't recognize a customer, because they don't even look at the customer.

    The Chinese lady who standing at the register was too rude. I don't know the name but she was totally harmful for business like Charlie's like this kind of attitude...
