  The vibe was great, and the open-air setting with a view of New York City was beautiful. We live next door and are hoping to love it so we can visit regularly. The atmosphere was really good, but the food was super salty. I wasn’t a fan of their Mojitos, which might just be me. I prefer traditional Mojitos, and this one tasted off. My husband ordered the steak dinner, which was fine since it’s hard to mess up a steak. I got the seafood pasta, but it was incredibly salty and not edible. I brought it to the waitress’s attention, and she graciously offered to get a new order, which I did. The second time the dishes came back, the salt content was reduced by about 2%, but it was still extremely salty and not edible. I ended up drinking lots of water and couldn’t eat or drink anything else because water fills up your belly🤭. At the end, it was a disappointing dinner experience. If you’re just going to order beers and wines, you might be okay, but for dinner, I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s a shame. We still want to love this place, but I’m just honest with my experience. The staff and management teams were very kind and offered to help, which I thought really helped me leave a four-star review instead of three. I hope they see my review and decide to not make food so salty in the future. It could just be one night, and I’m still willing to give another try at some point in the future. But I’m a bit traumatized by how salty the food could be and need to warn my friends if we’ll take them there so they’re aware.

  COV Edgewater is officially my new neighborhood fave! We recently celebrated my Mom’s 77th birthday here with a party of five, and everything was a HIT! Our server, WILL, took such great care of us from beginning to end. He was attentive, welcoming, and made sure our birthday celebration felt special. Now, let’s talk about the FOOD! We tried the Mahi Mahi soft shell tacos, pork belly lettuce cups, deviled eggs, shrimp, broccoli, and the chicken tenders, which were seriously some of the BEST I’ve ever had! Everything was flavorful, fresh, and had just the right little kick to it. Every bite had us wanting to try something else. And the Popcorn Colada? SOOO refreshing, especially in this summer heat! It was the perfect drink for the occasion. Great food, great atmosphere, great service, and most importantly, my Mom enjoyed celebrating her 77th birthday surrounded by family. COV Edgewater definitely understood the assignment. We will absolutely be back! Special thank you to WILL for taking such wonderful care of our party!

  One of my favorite spots in Bergen County! The food is always so fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The drinks are also amazing every one I’ve tried has been better than the last. My favorite is the “Exotic Side of Her.” It’s not too sweet and comes with a passion fruit on top, which I love. And of course, the views are beautiful, but what really keeps us coming back is the service. A special shoutout to Jeremy, Tyler, Karl, Will, Jake, Mahsees, James & Kevin for always making sure we have a great experience. They’re such a great team and always make us feel so welcomed. Between the food, drinks, views, and service, you really can’t go wrong here. Highly recommend! 🤗

  My husband and I recently dined at COV, and it exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. As longtime fans of Blu on the Hudson, we were excited to experience another restaurant from the same ownership, and they absolutely delivered the same exceptional standard of excellence we’ve come to expect. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, with beautiful décor and a sophisticated ambiance that makes it perfect for everything from date nights to special celebrations. The level of hospitality truly stood out. Our server, Taeo, was outstanding, professional, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. He anticipated our needs without ever being intrusive and made our dining experience feel effortless. The managers were equally exceptional, stopping by to ensure everything was perfect and making us feel like valued guests. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the blackened mahi-mahi tacos were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, the salmon skewers were flavorful and cooked to perfection, and the lamb chops were tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious. Every plate was beautifully presented and showcased the quality of the ingredients. To complement our meal, we enjoyed wine and one of the best espresso martinis we’ve had, smooth, perfectly balanced, and the ideal way to end the evening. COV has successfully combined exceptional cuisine, impeccable service, and a refined atmosphere into an unforgettable dining experience. If you appreciate the quality and elegance of Blu on the Hudson, you’ll feel right at home here. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend COV to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience.

  Cov is mainly a seafood restaurant that took the place of pier 113. The areas that are completed are very pretty and I will return once they’re completely opened. I dined here during their soft opening and unfortunately there are a several things they need to improve upon before I would consider dining here again. Their cocktails were very, very watered down- we had the old fashioned, espresso martini, and the you shouldn’t. We had their scallop dish from the cold menu, which would have been fantastic, however, the sauce they serve with it was very salty and completely overpowered the delicate flavor of the scallop. We also had their pork belly appetizer which would have been a knockout had they used a thick piece of pork belly and seared and rendered the fat; they used the pork belly rolls you buy from Hmart for k bbq which is essentially bacon. It was off putting. The main dishes were unfortunately a let down. We had their brisket sandwich which lacked flavor and one of my guests had a chunk of bone in it which is completely dangerous. I had their grilled salmon skewer, which is more of an accompaniment, in my opinion, as it doesn’t come with anything- it lacked flavor, was completely cold and tasted slightly off. With that said, they just opened, they are learning, and they were willing to improve. They took my feedback and provided us with complimentary desserts and a generous discount. I will give them another chance in a few months to let them work their kinks out. We did like their tomato, watermelon, and feta salad, rainbow ice cream cake, as well as their shrimp and octopus dish.
