Repeated late-night noise from this property. Power tools and cutting work have run well past 11:00 PM on multiple occasions — past East Brunswick’s 8:00 PM cutoff for power-tool use under the township noise ordinance (Ch. 147). Reported, but the pattern continues. Worth knowing if you live or are considering living nearby.

Me and my girlfriend dined in Tuesday for lunch and to my surprise the inside dining room was beautifully decorated. The owner was very polite and helpful with the menu and recommendations. The lunch special was out of this world and the portions were great. I’m a bigger guy too so the refills on anything in the platter was a welcomed surprise. Id recommend this to anyone who wants some good food for their hard earned dollar, and I’m definitely gonna be returning with friends and family.
I visited Clove Garden in East Brunswick, NJ today, and the experience was truly unforgettable.
Even though the restaurant is not specifically known for dosa, I decided to order one, and it turned out to be one of the best dosas I have had. The sambar was perfectly balanced, rich with vegetable flavors, and both the tomato chutney and coconut chutney were excellent. The consistency was just right, neither too thick nor too runny.
The dosa arrived shortly after I finished the complimentary papad, which was a nice touch and showed great timing from the kitchen.
This dinner was especially memorable because it was my first official date with a friend. She was very happy with the experience, and so was I.
The mango lassi was absolutely outstanding. It was one of the best mango lassis I have ever tasted. My date ordered buttermilk, and the server thoughtfully asked whether she wanted the regular version or the masala version. She chose the masala buttermilk and later said it was a little spicy for her. We ended up swapping our drinks, and seeing her reaction and smile made the evening even more special.
Thank you to the entire Clove Garden team for the wonderful food, warm hospitality, and for helping make my evening so memorable. I will definitely be back.

Yesterday, my family and I visited Clove Garden in East Brunswick, but unfortunately they were closed for a private party. Since the restaurant has so many great Google reviews, we decided to order takeout instead, and I’m glad we did.
The food was absolutely amazing. The Pallipalayam Chicken was outstanding, one of the best I’ve ever had. The only other time I remember enjoying it this much was in London. The flavors were authentic, rich, and perfectly balanced.
The Mixed Grill was the highlight of the meal for me. It included a great variety of items, chicken (both bone-in and boneless), shrimp, lamb kebab, and chicken kebab. Everything was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. It’s rare to find tandoori items that are this tender and well-prepared.
We also ordered Mysore Masala Dosa and an extra bowl of sambar. Funny enough, the dosa already came with sambar, so we ended up with double the amount, but my son happily finished the extra bowl!
The Palak Paneer was excellent as well. The paneer seemed different from the typical paneer served at most restaurants, in a very good way. It was soft, fresh, and delicious.
A special thank you to Andres for guiding us through the menu and helping us choose some fantastic dishes.
Although we had to take our food to go, the restaurant’s ambiance looked beautiful, and it made me want to come back for a proper dine-in experience. We will definitely be returning.
Highly recommended!

A BEAUTIFUL restaurant serving very good quality food. Their buffet isn't huge but each item is well-made and they will bring naan and dosa to your table if you ask. I especially enjoyed their chicken 65 and biryani - definitely must-tries. The restaurant is relatively unassuming on the outside, being just on Ryders Lane and looking more like a house. However, it is downright gorgeous when you step through the door. The seating area is a little small though, but that's hardly an issue. I will always prefer quality over quantity when it comes to buffets.
