  It was our family’s first time at Köy Grill, and we will definitely be back! Everything was fantastic - the chicken shish kabob was tender and flavorful, the appetizers were fast and delicious, even staples like the bread and rice were just very high quality. The ambience was pleasant, with low lights and chill lo-fi. The only things I would note is that the space is very tight between tables and that the restroom has to be accessed from outside. Other than those two factors, everything - food, atmosphere, service - was wonderful.

  We ordered hummus as an appetizer and the lamb platter for two. The hummus was great and the portion generous; the meat was delicious! Our favorites were the beef kebab and lamb chops. The fresh bread served at the beginning of the meal was perfect.* The decor was tasteful and inviting, perfect for a small and cozy spot like Koy. The tea and coffee were served in elegant metal cup holders. Layla, our server, was extremely helpful. She was attentive, answered all of our questions, and made excellent suggestions. She also has a very bright, positive energy! She made our first visit to this establishment a genuine pleasure. If you are a fan of Mediterranean cuisine, this is an excellent spot to check out.   Wanted a good Turkish spot in NJ and this spot had great reviews so figured why not. I ordered the mixed adana kebab platter with white rice and the mixed shish kebab platter. Both was really bomb and exceptional taste. They gave us a complimentary bread with this Olive salad dip on side that was amazing. I also ordered the lambchops to try on side with Bulgur. Amazing. There hot sauce and white sauce was also super amazing. Ordered Turkish tea to end the meal perfectly. Highly recommend if you nearby and in the feels for Turkish food. The lady that waited our table was really nice too

  As soon as I came inside, I was blown away by the ambiance; not only was it friendly, but it was also enjoyable to simply look around while waiting for my lunch! However, the wait was not long. The pita bread is wonderful and served fresh, and the amounts far exceeded my expectations. I was served by a really lovely girl who even helped me order a new sort of rice for my gyro, which I enjoyed! Overall, this establishment does not receive the recognition it deserves for its high-quality food, service, and atmosphere. I will come back!

  As someone from a Turkish background, I found the food here to be far from authentic.. I ordered the eggplant dish, and it was very disappointing—the meat quality was poor and lacked flavor. The menu prices were expensive. It was also frustrating to be charged 75 cents for a small hot pepper lol On a positive note, the waitstaff were friendly and attentive. However, the bathroom setup was unusual—you have to go outside and enter through the back, which was inconvenient. Overall, not a place I would return to for authentic Turkish food.
