Unacceptable service. First right out of the gate, our waiter came though with our drinks and poured the entire tray on me right at the start of my dinner. Id assume the manager was sleeping because no one ever came out, a terrible start to dinner. Then as we were leaving, when one of the members of my party pushed their chair back to get up, the leg snapped and she fell on her side. Again, not a single worker came over to assist her in any way, not even an apology. They took the chair away in a hurry once we got up and were just going to throw the chair out without informing the manager! You would think after the night we had some kind of discount would be in order, but nope, just sent the check and sent us on our way without a peep from management. We left and are very unlikely to go back. Beware their inexperienced unprofessional servers and poor quality furniture!

The food here is always amazing, our hibachi chef was so lovely and so fun to be around we tipped him well.. I normally have no complaints here but last night was supposed to be special and our waiter definitely killed the vibe. When taking drinks my boyfriend asked what they have and he said “i dont know.. like anything” and shrugged his shoulders with so much attitude. He then handed out drinks to everyone with no straws until a lady at the end of the table asked and he threw down a pile infront of her I was shocked. There were three different familys at our table all celebrating different occasions but all of us connected over the fact our waiter had such terrible service. He was beyond rude slamming down refilled drinks and rolling his eyes and shrugged. Another lady had to ask for new chopsticks 3 times before he actually listened. I was at Hibachi table 2 last night, 6/19/26 around 6:30-7:40. Our waiter was a teenage to early 20’s boy with longer hair and a greasy middle part. He also had little facial hir but probably as much as he was capable of growing. We tipped out our chef and gave the waiter $0 and left a note to fix his attitude. Dont work in food service serving families if you cant act bare minimum and throw on a fake smile. Definitely will be coming back though because the environment and other staff and food is top tier.

This restaurant was the birthday girl's request, and apparently it's become her annual birthday tradition. First off, valet parking is available, so just pull up and hand over the keys. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, with options ranging from the classic hibachi table experience to outdoor seating with a water view. Other than the scenery, it's comparable to most hibachi restaurants, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The portions, however, are where this place stands out. The food is plentiful, and for the price, you can easily get two meals out of one entrée. Definitely plan on taking home leftovers!

I had been looking forward to coming to Sogo all day, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was incredible, I thought the koi pond in the front was a nice touch, and the amount of food received for the price is amazing. I ordered the single chicken hibachi and it was splendid. The service was great as well and the servers were incredibly accommodating. I would definitely come again!

DO NOT BRING TODDLERS TO HIBACHI. Had to start my review by saying that for all the parents out there. First off, I love this place. I've been here numerous times and always enjoy it. The show at the table is great, the food is great, and the drinks are awesome. Hibachi is a theatrical experience - you might have food flying at you to catch or you might get some Sake or water sprayed - and it's all fun!! This is not an event to bring a toddler too. I was here a week ago and saw two parents with their toddler at one of the hibachi tables. It was the toddler's birthday....so of course, the hibachi chef comes out with a happy attitude saying "happy birthday baby" and takes out his water sprayer and sprays the baby in the face. Sure, the baby squinted and was turning it's face away, but the baby was completely fine. The dad immediately starts going "we didn't like that," all passive aggressive. Sir, don't bring your child to HIBACHI for their BIRTHDAY. They will NOT remember it. These parents just wanted hibachi for themselves - it's selfish. Bring the kid to a Chuck-E-Cheese. The hibachi chef maintained a positive attitude but the vibes were SO off after that. When you get hibachi you need to expect certain things to happen: getting sprayed with water/sake, onion volcano, getting tossed some zucchini in the air. Don't be shocked when it happens, and don't bring a child to hibachi. Keep on keeping on, Sogo!!! This place ROCKS!!!!
