I ordered a burrito from DoorDash, but got a call saying they didn’t have the protein I ordered. The Chipotle employee very kindly asked me what I’d like as a substitution and offered to include free chips and guac, to make up for the payment deficit without the protein. To my surprise, they also included an apple juice, free of charge. These employees are always sweet and helpful. They deserve a raise! Thanks for the apple juice!

Instead of letting me order normally, they asked what I wanted beforehand, charged me, and then sent me to the line. Strangely, the white customer next to me was able to order his food normally and paying lastly. I’m not sure why I was treated differently, but the experience felt inconsistent and frustrating.
