I’m rating this place 5/5 out of support to the restaurant in order to keep up the good work however being fare I have so many complaints that could lower the rating. I have been before and it has been much better there must be some kind of a good in the kitchen.
1- four female employees at the reception had a grumpy attitude with a look that makes you feel as if your going to a funeral, except for the the African American young lady who had the best smile at this place. When dining at a restaurant employees attitude matters.
2- The hummus wasn’t up to the standard that it should be.
3- falafel is served as if a rookie chef made it.
4- the chili potatos Blatat’s harra wasn’t good at all and not crispy as it is supposed to be, soaked in bbq sauce or whatever which is not the right recipe and not even close.
5- Msakhan rolls weren’t good for god sake you are a Palestinian restaurant and you don’t know how to make good msakhan. Msa5an ya jama3a.
6- the cheese rolls weren’t good as well, the roll is not tasty and the cheese as well.
7- fattoush salad wasn’t good, why would you use the huge cucumbers, in a Mediterranean restaurant these cucumbers do not exist usually restaurants buys them because it’s cheaper.
8- the staff aren’t trained they bring the bread basket and just throw them in front of you literally in the place where you should have your plates. The order was mixed.
9- The chicken didn’t look good that we didn’t even touched it.
I’m writing this down because I think you are doing great efforts and you should have a better quality of food and service.
The Makloube exceeded expectations👍👍
I’m tough because you need to alleviate your quality to earn your title as a Palestinian restaurant.

We came from Fairfax VA, I own a restaurant myself and I should tell as a professional this is exceptionally rare to find a great, well executed middle eastern restaurant, me and my family enjoyed it a lot. “Shukran” to owner.

My dad sat on the chair and it was broken. So he fell on the floor. They asked if everything was ok but if it was a different restaurant who value their customers it would have been at least a free meal or dessert. Sorry for the management who only care about money via Mandatory 20% tips. And also taxes. On this of all that they have the audacity to charge card service fee if used a credit card. Food was good though

All this hype and ads on the instagram page and when I finally convinced my friend to come with me i was met with great disappointment we kept being ignored the entire time when i just wanted water cuz i was so thirsty before we get to order and when we ordered food took about like 47 min and it wasn’t even that great and my friend ordered the filet mignon and it was not filet mignon we asked for the manager and he insisted that it was indeed a filet mignon but ok if he insisted with that attitude i just wanted to leave ASAP and the service kept trying hard to take ower empty plates even tho we kept telling them to leave it alone that also annoyed me and my friend cuz they interrupt ower conversation and when it was finally time for the bill it was unbelievable over priced.
I am soo frustrated from everything about this restaurant and me and friend promised we will never come back here again it was a great disappointment.

My first time trying Palestinian food, and I can't believe I've been missing out! The Olive Bistro exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, one of the owners, Osama, made us feel like family. You can truly feel the love that this family-owned and operated restaurant pours into everything—from the beautiful décor and warm hospitality to every dish that comes out of the kitchen.
Everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor! The Black Olive & Cheese Pie was absolutely delicious, and the warm, fresh-baked pita paired perfectly with the Hummus with Meat, Baba Ghanoush, Fattoush Salad, Cheese Rolls, and Fried Kibbeh. The Mix Grill for Two was outstanding, especially the juicy chicken chops and tender lamb chops. And don't leave without trying the Frozen Mint Lemonade—it was one of the best drinks I've ever had!
Whether you're looking for lunch, dinner, or a place to celebrate with family and friends, The Olive Bistro is a must-visit. I already can't wait to come back! 💕
