  So far, so good. Ample parking in a well kept lot, with other businesses next door, a variety of reasonably priced items and a solid team of helpful employees. I would put I sign on the door that gets locked early, because 6 young men were headed back to their car when I redirected them to the front.

  They close one side of the supermarket at 8pm and watch you attempt to exit on the far side without saying anything. There’s also no sign. This is a complete disregard for the disabled community.

  On May 22, 2026, I bought some date paste, but when I went to use it, it was rock-hard. This struck me as strange, as it is always soft. I checked the package for the dates: it was produced in May 2024 and expires on May 2, 2026. How can a supermarket chain with multiple locations sell expired products?

  I was embarrassed at Stop & Shop on Kingsland Road this evening because I was having issues with Apple Pay. I asked to step aside for a second to see what was going on and if they could put my cart to the side. The store manager yelled across the store, “If you don’t have money, then don’t take things.” Then some guy said, “Yeah.” People should try being kind to everyone because you never know what someone is going through.
