  Me and my wife eat at establishment across America. This is one of the best we have come across in a long time. (Chicken Cheddar Biscuit with Sriracha) one word Outstanding.

  Delicious chicken caesar cutlet - perfect balance of dressing, greens and parm. Zucchini corn fritters with ranch dip was a hit with the kids. First time ordering the blackened chicken rice bowl - loved it, great flavor and had a stunning presentation. And of course - we always love the fries, a must have!

  Pren is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is incredible every single time, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Their baked goods are just as amazing, always fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. I highly recommend Pren and will definitely keep coming back!

  I can’t rate the food, because we never got sat. After already waiting 20 minutes in their waiting room they asked us if we wanted to write our names down saying it is a 20-30 minute wait. We were confused as to why our name wasn’t already written down, and the host just kept reiterating if we wanted to write our name down now. We said no need we are in a time crunch. They then turned their backs to us and talked about us behind the counter. Our friend who initially asked how long the wait would be went up to them confused as to why our name wasn’t originally written down on the waitlist. They then proceeded to apologize for the miscommunication and check if they had a table for us that would be ready soon. We waited for an additional 15 minutes and they never came back to the front to communicate whether or not we could be seated. Overall, we understand the miscommunication but the lack of follow ups was disappointing nonetheless. Hello Kraig, I see you replied to my original review. I see you did not take accountability on part of your staff. As you mentioned, I did not address my number getting written down, this is due to your staff not following protocols you have put in place. After confirming the wait time was fine with us, the staff did not ask for our name and number. We proceeded to sit in the waiting area for around 20 minutes before being approached again if we wanted our name and number written on the waitlist. Maybe you should review the protocol with your staff.

  My companion and I stopped in at Chester New Jersey’s Pren restaurant for a leisurely Sunday lunch, and every part of the meal exceeded our expectations. We began with the French onion soup, which was absolutely outstanding—rich, deeply flavorful, and prepared in the traditional French style with crisp croutons and a generous layer of perfectly melted Gruyère cheese. For our entrées, my companion chose the smashed sweet potato burger on seeded sourdough with crispy shallots, and pecans and ricotta/feta cream, served with a fresh side salad and a wonderful homemade raspberry vinaigrette. I had the avocado BLT on toasted 9 grain bread with garlic aïoli, and it was simply phenomenal—fresh, generous, and bursting with flavor. The homemade French fries, seasoned with rosemary and Parmesan, were crisp, fragrant, and utterly addictive. To finish, we shared a delicious affogato: creamy coffee cookies and cream ice cream topped with hot espresso, creating the perfect ending to a memorable meal. The food, presentation, service and overall experience were exceptional. This is a restaurant that clearly takes pride in every dish, and we will most definitely be back. Highly recommended.
