  The manager Mrs Kelly, made my experience at sunrise social fantastic. I ask her could she sit us right away and we had to catch a flight soon back to Florida. She said no problem and sat us and made sure our food came out on time and real smooth. I really appreciate that and can’t thank her enough. Make sure yall recognize her for her good services and care for people.

  This place is the bomb! If you’re looking for wonderful food, a welcoming atmosphere, and soulful music this is the spot. Ask for Kelly! She will take care of you as if you are her own, she’s extremely attentive and kind. I felt very cared for, this is a place I will definitely continue to visit in the future. If you’re still suspicious I urge you to try it out for yourself! You can’t go wrong 😊

  After previously visiting the Sunrise location in Philadelphia, I decided to visit the New Jersey location with my family. I want to begin by acknowledging that the service we received was exceptional—10/10. The staff was courteous, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. Unfortunately, my overall experience was significantly impacted by a serious sanitation concern. When I went to use the restroom, I noticed that there was no toilet paper or hand soap available. I brought this to the attention of a staff member and was informed that the establishment did not have any soap on the premises due to a shipment that had not arrived as scheduled. This information was extremely concerning. Proper handwashing is a fundamental sanitation requirement in any food-service establishment. Learning that there was reportedly no soap available raised immediate concerns regarding how employees—including servers, hosts, and, most importantly, individuals responsible for preparing and handling food—were able to maintain appropriate hand hygiene. While I understand that delivery delays and supply issues can occur, an establishment serving food to the public should have contingency measures in place to ensure that essential sanitation supplies, particularly hand soap, are available at all times. It was disappointing that such an otherwise excellent experience was overshadowed by an issue of this magnitude. I sincerely hope management takes this concern seriously and implements appropriate safeguards to prevent a similar situation in the future. The quality of the service was outstanding, but proper sanitation and food safety must remain a priority.

  Went to this the NJ location for the 1st time and the service was excellent. We were seated promptly after the reservation was confirmed. The server was very professional and pleasant. He checked on us during our visit multiple times. After we were finished eating everyone had to use the restroom. The 1st person in our party informed us that there was no toilet tissue or hand soap in the restroom. We had hand sanitizer in the car and use that. I then went to the rear of the restaurant and asked my server for a manager he asked if everything was ok and I informed him that his service was impeccable but the issue was the restroom. He then said “are you referring to the soap” I said yes and the tissue. He stated that we will take care of the tissue but they were waiting for an order for the soap. Then stated that the soap was supposed to be there yesterday. I said are you serious! I further asked how they were washing their hands and he stated that the bathroom soap is a different kind of soap. What does that mean because the question was never answered. During that conversation I observed an employee go to a sink in the kitchen that was used for hand washing because it had a soap dispenser over the sink however she just rinse her hands with water and wiped them on her pants. I told him to look at the employee washing her hands with just water and he was quiet. I was sickened by the fact that there was no soap in the entire restaurant for hand washing and they were aware since the previous day. This is a serious health violation and we will never visit again. MANAGEMENT please do a better job at ordering supplies for this business so that the customers don’t get sick. Again I will reiterate that the service and food was great but no one is willing to risk their health for unsanitary practices.
