  Reese Vincent and Malachi are the absolute best! They deserve a raise!! They made my bowl so delicious and were so generous with the portions. My favorite cava! Exceptional customer service. I will be back!

  This was a horrendous experience. The order is listed clearly and pretty simple to follow. Missing multiple selections on all 4 bowls. They were out of ice. Put of drinks. Got my food 25 minutes after my pickup time. Missing 2 orders of pita chips. East Brunswick, NJ location. What a night ruiner.

  My first time here and omg i love it! they helped me choose the perfect bowl and was very fast with it too. Thank you Izzy, Lily & keaira you guys were very helpful today

  Second time here since it opened. The food was fine. Service could have been a little bit more efficient but it wasn't terrible. There was a CONSTANT flow of customers. Because of this I would recommend that this location hire a teenager that could work a few hours during peak times to wipe down tables, refill straws, empty garbage, and sweep the floors. I understand they are busy but if they are that busy they can afford to have a teen or other part timer keep the place nice. The tables were sticky and the floors as well and there was a lot of garbage and food bits on the floor. I was there around 6:30 on a Saturday. Also the outdoor tables look like they could use a cleaning.

  I have been a frequent Cava eater for close to a decade. Originally only at the Bridgewater location, but added East Brunswick to the list once it opened. Usually my experience is pretty good, but not so much last night. I was kind of in a rush which just made my experience worse and I was unable to excuse what I normally would. I got to the location a little before 7pm, so after I assume the dinner rush. When I got in line, there were 2 people ahead of me who had not yet begun their order and somehow it was 15 minutes before I was out the door. There was not enough staff on the ordering line. At least 2 less people than any other time I've been there. So the staff that was working behind the counter had to keep going back and forth while we just waited. Even the cashier had to deal with a togo issue so I was standing at the register for at least 3 minutes holding my card waiting to pay with no one there. On top of the slow service, the portion size seems to have shrunk considerably, or maybe the staff was just being extra stingy last night. Usually when I get a bowl, it's pretty full. Not last night. Almost no lettuce went into the bowl and the other fillings were barely added when I asked, also they were not all fully stocked. I did get the new salmon and while it was tasty, it was a pretty small piece and they would not allow me to add another protein to my bowl. I hope this was a fluke night, as I do enjoy Cava. But if this happens again, I might have to remove it from my rotation
