- CKCarolyn KayySep 20, 20262.0I’ve consistently ordered from Joe’s and have generally enjoyed my experience, most often ordering through DoorDash. Today, however, I decided to call my order in and have my boyfriend pick it up. Unfortunately, I called three separate times. The first two calls were disconnected without anyone speaking to me, and on the third call, I was left on hold without a greeting or any communication. When my boyfriend arrived and mentioned that I had been hung up on multiple times and then left on hold, he was told that they were almost out of bagels. What was particularly frustrating was that I wasn’t even ordering a bagel. My order was for a breakfast sandwich on a Kaiser roll and a Western omelette. Additionally, when my boyfriend arrived, the restaurant was not particularly busy, which made the lack of communication even more difficult to understand. I completely understand that businesses can run low on certain supplies, especially during busy periods. However, customers should still be given the opportunity to place their orders and, if necessary, make substitutions or adjustments rather than being left without any communication. I’m hoping this was simply an isolated experience, as I’ve ordered from Joe’s consistently and am willing to give them another chance. I just hope that the communication and customer service experience will be better in the future.

- TBT BJul 27, 20261.0I placed a simple order in the store. Got my order went home and it was sooo wrong. Reluctantly went back. If it was maybe one thing they got wrong, would have been okay...but this order was so completely off. Have no idea how they messed it up so bad. I came back, I will admit annoyed and said I have no idea how you got this so wrong. The guy behind the counter immediately came at me and said, "ok, what do you want!?" over and over again. Each time more annoyed and didn't even listen to me, wanted me out of there and kept saying, it happens, ok...in a really snarky, dismissive tone. I admit, its just bagels. But the right response would have been, I'm sorry...let me make you a new order and refund you the difference. Nope!! Instead, he seemed more annoyed than I was. He actually took the bagels that I didn't want and slammed them into the garbage can. He gave me the right bagels. But to be honest, that didnt even matter anymore, I was so mad, which is not how I came in. Horrible customer service. I've been in the store so many times and never had a problem, until now. Also, never refunded me the difference.
