**Manager Threatened to Call Police Instead of Resolving a Simple Order Issue**
On June 30, 2026, I visited the Branchburg location, which is on my daily commute. I accidentally placed two separate mobile orders, one of which included a Big Mac redeemed with my rewards points.
At the first drive-thru window, I explained the situation to the employee, who told me that the manager at the pickup window, Antonio, would take care of it.
When I arrived at the second window, Antonio told me he did not have the Big Mac. I explained that it was part of my rewards order, but he refused to provide it. I asked if the employee from the first window could come over to clarify what had been discussed, but that request was also refused.
At that point, I said I would remain at the window until the order was corrected. Instead of asking to see my rewards receipt or trying to verify the order, Antonio immediately threatened to call the police. When I told him I would be filing a complaint with management, he showed no concern.
Afterward, I contacted Adderley Management, the franchise owner, by both phone and email. I shared my dashcam video of the interaction and requested an in-person meeting at the restaurant with Antonio present so the incident could be reviewed and discussed. I also explained that, after this experience, I was no longer comfortable having Antonio handle my food.
That request was denied. Instead, I was offered a complimentary meal at another location. While I appreciate the gesture, it did not address the conduct that led to my complaint or provide any assurance that similar situations would be handled differently in the future.
I declined the offer. I'll simply choose another restaurant going forward. Customers deserve to have simple order issues handled professionally, with an effort to resolve the problem before threats of police involvement are made.
