I enjoyed the visit and thought the atmosphere was interesting. The staff was attentive and pleasant. The food was good, the prices were more than I like to pay.

Best and most unique food I’ve had in the area! Absolutely loved it. So bummed I didn’t know about this place earlier. No negatives.

Went to Under the Moon for dinner the other night and had a great experience! The food was delicious! Especially the Ropa Vieja. It’s to die for. The ambience was so cute and cozy. Service was excellent, attentive and quick. I’d recommend everyone to try it out when they are in Bordentown.

I was really hoping all the negative reviews were isolated. Nope! Not worth 1/2 of what we paid for meh food and lousy service. There are plenty of other places in Bordentown to have a great meal….BUT NOT HERE! And, for the owner who will respond to this review, save your typing, because I already read all the bad reviews and your “canned” response will insult my intelligence. Get a new chef, a new menu and new servers that actually give a crap! I will definitely not be dining here again! You should be embarrassed about the food you serve! $127 a couple for a BYOB, despicable. The decor was nice. That’s all folks!

We went there for Mother's Day, chosen by a family member that had previously gone for dinner. For years, we went to PJ's Pancake House in Robbinsville, but they closed down since last year, and we had to find a venue. Our choice was Erini in Ewing, but they suggested we try Under the Moon since they had an earlier opening time. (On a separate note, our niece and nephew didn't have any kids section of the menu, but it was a specific menu made for Mother's Day. A very big oversight as kids are usually with their moms for breakfast/brunch. Our child is too young to need their own plate so it did not affect us.) First thing my wife and I ordered oat milk lattes, we were told they are out of oat milk after the server checked, which I'd assume they'd stock up on for a holiday like Mother's Day. This became a theme as our server had to keep asking her coworkers if items were available, like a simple request for a side of scrambled eggs for my nephew. Four of the group got the French Toast, it was 3 very small half slices of French Toast, and we have had much larger portions for a similar price at other restaurants. The food was okay in general, not anything to write home about. We get the check and there is an auto gratuity for a "large party" of 20%. We usually are over tippers, giving 25% on most occasions. But the server was severely lacking, she seemed new and I wouldn't have had her by herself if I was the manager. 18% would have been fair, even though others may have only left 15%. But the "large party" is what surprised us. It was 5 adults, 2 kids under 10, and 1 under 2. I called the restaurant after we left and six is what they consider a large group. Needless to say, we will try our luck somewhere else next year.
