Waste of Money & Time
If you value your money, your time, or even basic food quality, do not order from State Street Grill.
All the omelettes were disappointing, the potatoes were BURNT BLACK, and someone still chose to plate, package, and serve them. When I contacted the restaurant, the manager’s response was essentially that there was nothing she could do except offer more potatoes.
The older male cashier was also rude and unwelcoming.
Burnt food is one thing. Serving it knowingly and then showing almost no concern afterward is another. Poor food, poor service, and absolutely no accountability.
I would not spend another dollar here.
The food is fine. But I went to call for pick up today. 2 salads and wings. The phone was an AI and forced me to use the website. Fine, put the order on the website and it's buggy (tried to force me to order add-ons I didn't want). And then I get to the restaurant and no one knows what my order is. Ordered 45 minutes ago. Still here.
Advice to ownership. If someone is calling OBVIOUSLY they don't want to use the website. This is the second time you've clearly lost my order for exactly this reason.
(Just got my food.... An hour wait.)
*Edit AND OF COURSE YOU GOT MY ORDER WRONG

We love stoping by State Street whenever we need a good meal! The staff is always so friendly and attentive. Our regular server Chris takes great care of us every time and is a super sweet guy. The food arrives quickly, the portions are super generous, and it definitely hit the spot. 10/10, would recommend!

Had a great experience at State Street Diner in Bloomfield! Chris was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Great service really makes a difference, and Chris definitely made our visit even better. Thank you for taking such good care of us. We’ll definitely be back!

During my visit, I experience somewhat decent customer service; employees are seemingly kind. Helping with navigating a menu may involve intricate processes which rely on àn inquiry of a patron. I request extra onions though never confirm upgrading to a deluxe. I discover the upgrade occurs after inquiring about lettuce due to recognizing the presence of the tomatoes (of which an employee apologizes for—the absence of lettuce, I think), which may leave one to wonder: am I receiving a proper upgrade, especially considering pricing? The turkey burger meal is quite delicious; the coleslaw is a sweet like cabbage candy though the flavor settles comparatively to the turkey burger; the turkey burger is quite sweet, seemingly from the delicate-soft bread (ripping by chewing, not by gripping); the tomatoes are juicy, adding moisture to each bite; the reddish onions offer a zesty-spice that does not linger long on the tongue though simmers in the cave of the mouth; the turkey burger is easy to chew and tender of an even cook, moisture all throughout, of a light sautée. The establishmént offers a variety of seating. Aside from the modern music, I feel like I'm sitting in a big classic jukebox. The establishment accepts different forms of payment. Thanks for being patient with my spoon change request (if using a dishwasher for cleaning, double checking utensils to make sure no dry soap/ stains are present may keep one abreast of any stain before any utensil reaches wherever a person may use a utensil).
