  This hidden gem of an eatery has amazing food! The entrees were delicious and the portions substantial. The appetizers and salads were tasty, even the bread was out of this world. The atmosphere was okay, although I would have preferred a more quaint, homey ambiance. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for the service is that our waitress seemed kind of tentative - almost like she wasn't very experienced. And after getting us our drinks fairly quickly, she kind of disappeared and we didn't see a lot of her for the remainder of the evening. But, the bus staff and the maitre d were attentive. All in all, a pretty positive dining experience. I will definitely go back.

  First time here. Food was amazing. Fanny's Platter, Caesar Salad, Chicken Francaise, and Chicken Parm with Vodka sauce were all delicious. Server was a little inattentive, but not to the point of real aggravation. Will definitely be back.

  This place is definitely a hidden gem! Tucked a little out of the way but worth the hunt to find it. You enter from the back parking lot by the iHop on Broad street. The chicken Parm was outstanding and enough for 3 meals! Great atmosphere and great service. Nice bar too. Everyone loved their meals too. It's a must try if you're in the Bloomfield area.

  Loved the ricotta toast and the pasta was perfect. Shared several desserts, zepps and chocolate cake were the favorites. It was strange that the only available reservations were 5:30 and 8:30 but we were there at 5: 30-8:30 and there were plenty of tables available??

  Last time eating at Fanny’s and today hit the nail of never returning. Arrived with my friend for brunch and the place had about five table occupied. Not one employee in site, till we had to chase someone down. Reminder the place was dead! After a few minutes a waitress seated us and absolutely unwelcoming. Ordered coffee and it came in to-go cups (odd for a sit down restaurant). The waitress was a bit inpatient with us and rushed us on our order. Fanny’s please put better descriptions on the sides of the dishes. My friend ordered a hot chicken sandwich and the description just said a side of fries. All of a sudden truffle fries come out with her dish. My friend is a chef and said, heck no because there’s no way this place serves legit truffle oil. I ordered eggs Bennie and the side salad wasn’t on the description and it was awful. Please, be more descriptive with your menu and make this place more welcoming and inviting. It’s expensive to eat out and we would love to feel welcoming in your business.
