My family and I have loved the food here since the day they opened! Everything is truly authentic and absolutely delicious you can’t go wrong with anything you order. The arroz con gandules, mofongo, beef and chicken stew, empanadas, yuca fries, juicy rotisserie chicken, and perfectly cooked pernil are all incredible! The restaurant is always clean, and the owners are so kind and welcoming. We love their food so much that we chose them to cater our wedding!

Very Disappointing Customer Service August 17, 2026 @4:30pm I was very disappointed with the service I received at this restaurant. When I entered, I was asked whether I was ordering takeout or eating in. I clearly said I was eating in, and I was told to have a seat. I sat there for about 10 minutes, but no one came to assist me or even provide a menu. I eventually went to the counter and asked if I could have a menu. The woman at the counter apologized and said she was busy. I returned to my seat and waited another 20 minutes, but still no one came over. What was even more disappointing was that there were three other customers seated in the dining area. They finished their meal and left a significant amount of food behind. During the entire time I was there, no one checked on them to see if everything was okay or even asked if they needed boxes for their leftovers. After waiting approximately 30 minutes without being attended to, I decided to leave. When the same woman saw me, she apologized. I told her that the customers who choose to eat inside should also receive attention and service, rather than having all the focus placed on customers ordering takeout. Unfortunately, I left without being served. I understand that a restaurant can get busy, but customers who are already seated and waiting should not be ignored. This was a very disappointing experience, and the customer service needs significant improvement.

I normally love this place, I travel 35+ minutes for it but today, I was not happy I placed my order online for pickup at a certain time. I came in the little girl at the register said they are backed up, that was fine I didn’t mind waiting. But then she was taking cash and coins, touching inside the ears. And then I noticed she was touching the food with her unclean hands she grabbed a maduro and put it back down bc she could not eat it right away. Then they gave me her touched maduros since I ordered a side of them. So I wasted my money on them also as well because I am not eating them. Not happy about this.

Ok I decided to give it another try since they had 1st opened and they must have obtained new cooks. I had their beef empanada which was flavorful and packed with meat as well as their tripleta sandwich which the pernil was on point. This tripleta is set up a little different than what im used to but Iwas delicious. Now I like mines the way it was served but if someone may not like it as wet I'm sure you can request the mayoketsup on the side and that would solve that. I need to go back and try their alcapurrias and then some. Empanadas all looked good. I will come back.

I tried this Spanish joint out yesterday evening.. I went to my maps and typed in Spanish food near me and 💥BOOM💥 Now I’m from Barnegat and took the ride and was not disappointed whatsoever.. We entered and Spanish music playing right volume easy to hear and order.. I’m a huge lover of Spanish food from empanadas to ox tail and goat meal I love it all.. This place isn’t your typical Spanish food line kept warm and dried out like some other restaurants or Bodegas.. It’s more Spanish /Americanized.. I personally think it’s much better this way with no language hardships and very easy to order and understand one another.. I grabbed togo and definitely was disappointed there packaging kept all our order great temp for a 20 min ride home and out the bag str8 to table no reheating Necessary.. I grabbed the pork chops, Spanish rice with Gondolas And Red beans My son grabbed the Ford Valley, Spanish rice, red beans. My wife grabbed that stewed chicken Spanish rice and red beans and we all enjoyed our meals tremendously. We grabbed 3 Beef empanadas, one for each one of us, and we had plenty of food leftover.. I would recommend this to anybody who loves Spanish cuisine. Fabulous job guys. I’ll see you again very soon.
