  EVERY BAD REVIEW ABOUT THIS PLACE IS TRUE!!! Those 5 star reviews are clearly paid for. I ordered Breakfast from this place thinking it has to be good because how can a place called “Manhattan Bagel” not be. I ordered The asparagus mushroom egg, white sandwich on a bagel with hash browns, and crumb cake and strawberry lemonade. I began to get suspicious with the order was ready in 7 minutes. So, I decided to read reviews and instantly regretted it. My order arrived with all separated for me to assemble myself; no mushrooms, no hash browns, and my lemonade was warm. It’s summer are you kidding me?? I called The store and asked for the manager because I was so upset. To which he made all sorts of excuses for his terrible staff. Then told me the bad reviews about this place is for a different location 😒. Also asked how close am I as if I will travel there for round #2 of a disappointment. Also, the bagel was tough as old boots!!!! DO NOT ORDER HERE UNLESS YOU ALSO WOULD LIKE TO BE DISAPPOINTED WHILE THROWING MONEY AWAY. Here’s a photo of the disaster ⬇️

  We ordered 2 custombagels one with avocado and eggs and the other one Lox with light cream cheese The staff was very accommodating, courteous and we had the best experience eating indoors Their dark roast coffee was great too

  I asked for a toasted salt bagel with extra cream cheese. It might have well have been a plain bagel that they showed a salt shaker to, and then called salt Bagel. 🙄 It's the only salt bagel I've ever had to actually find a packet of salt in my car to put on it to actually make it salty. It was just... Meh...

  I’m a regular here but today they had a new lady working there and she was extremely rude and got upset with me because I wanted my bagel made a certain way she was so rude to me and I left there highly upset. Never coming back again and the bagel was horrible btw 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

  I recently stopped by Manhattan Bagel in Bayonne for the first time in a few years, and I was pleasantly surprised by the changes they’ve made to the space. I remembered the comfortable chair seating from years ago, but now the restaurant features booth seating along the wall when you enter, along with additional tables near the counter. The new layout makes the space feel much larger, brighter, and more welcoming while accommodating more guests. It was a wonderful first impression. The menu offers an impressive variety of bagels, spreads, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, pastries, smoothies, and specialty drinks. We visited for breakfast, and I decided to try the French Toast Breakfast Sandwich. It comes with eggs, cheese, sausage, and bacon on French toast bread with a delicious cinnamon butter spread. The combination of sweet and savory flavors was absolute perfection. It was satisfying, flavorful, and unlike any breakfast sandwich I’ve had before. I also couldn’t resist the chocolate croissant, and I’m glad I didn’t. It was warm, flaky, and filled with an incredibly rich, gooey chocolate center. Every bite was packed with chocolate, making it one of the best chocolate croissants I’ve had—definitely better than the ones I typically grab from Starbucks. We also tried the Egg White Sandwich with spinach and avocado, adding turkey bacon and serving it on an onion bagel. It was fresh, flavorful, and a great lighter option. To drink, we ordered vanilla and hazelnut lattes. If you’re a coffee lover, you’ll appreciate these. The espresso has a strong, robust flavor that really comes through, making for a delicious and energizing cup of coffee. The staff was warm, welcoming, and courteous from the moment we walked in. We placed our order at the counter, found a comfortable booth, and relaxed while our breakfast was prepared. Our food and drinks were brought directly to our table promptly, and the service throughout our visit was excellent. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. We lingered over breakfast and coffee before heading off to finish our errands, and it was the perfect start to the day. If you’re looking for a great breakfast, a quality cup of coffee, fresh bagels, pastries, smoothies, or sandwiches, I highly recommend giving Manhattan Bagel a try. You won’t be disappointed.
