  We always have a great time at Caroline’s Tavern! The staff is amazing. friendly, welcoming, and always attentive. The food and drinks are consistently on point, and the atmosphere is fantastic. We love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it a great spot no matter the season. Definitely one of our favorite local places in Avenel!

  Dinner here was a great experience. Our server Ricardo was friendly and super helpful, he answered questions about the menu, and gave us great suggestions. Amongst other things, we had the Bang Bang cauliflower, and the trio Fajitas and drinks. The cauliflower was absolutely amazing: tasty, creamy and crunchy all at the same time.

  We had the brunch specials, we had the steak & eggs and the chicken & waffle. All great with the steak broiled perfectly. The spicy Bloody Mary & PBJ Old Fashioned were excellent! We will definitely be returning!

  Stopped in on a rainy Sunday afternoon with threat of a Noreaster and it was empty but soon started to fill up. Music was great, service lovely and interestingly a lot of clocks on the walls. Loved the popcorn brought to the table with the water. Dessert barely made the Pic 😊 Ricardo was our server and he was lovely ♥️

  me & a friend stopped by Caroline’s Tavern, and everything was amazing! the food was so fresh and flavorful… we had the wings, fried shrimp, and blackened salmon Caesar salad. our server, Ricardo, was super friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. the food and service were both 10/10. we’ll definitely be back!
