The people are really nice, however, in terms of prompt service and the general quality of food, it really just isn't there. I ordered a particular meal and they couldn't tell me what I ordered. For some reason. It was figured out later but when I actually drove off and then I finally opened to look at it. The order was only half correct. It's not the first time. Probably won't be the last time though. I think I'm going to stay away for a while. I'm sure these people are overworked and underpaid as is it a chronic issue in retail. That being said, however, if it's at such a point then perhaps the service cannot sustain itself and should that be the case then I'm not sure where they're going to go with it. All in all I had a very middling lunch and I had to return to where I came from because I was on a bit of a time crunch so I couldn't go back and get it fixed and all that cost over $15. So you pay over $15 to have some okayish food that isn't correct and a drink that is perhaps classically for Sonic chock full of ice. It's just not a great value prospect right? Even though McDonald's also has problems, at least they're quick and generally my order doesn't come out halfway. I want to emphasize that the staff are very nice. It's not necessarily their fault. However, something may have to change at some level to bring out the service in this area. When you can park your car and probably turn it off in line and still have enough time to then turn it back on later after watching a video or two, that's no longer a fast food that's dine in. Again I wish him well right? Very lovely people. Just something needs to change with the formula over there to better get the service and perhaps better motivate the members of staff. It's not easy but it's necessary if they want to continue.

Went through the drive-through last week and ordered fries and dirty sodas. The fries were not even room temp and since they were cold they were chewy. And the drive-through line took at least 20 minutes after ordering.

I went through the drive through to order a slush and the young man over the speaker was extremely rude. I asked about some flavors because I was unable to see them on the menu, and his response was “they’re on the menu”. I told him obviously the reason I am asking is bc I can’t see them! Wonder how they respond to the elderly who asked simple questions too.
Left the line immediately. 0/10

I decided to go to Sonic tonight to get something to eat. I went through the drive-thru and was asked to wait. I waited for five minutes before someone came on again to take my order. When I got to the window, it seemed like only one person was working based on how long everything took. I figured going to Sonic would be better than the other choices in the area, but I was wrong.
I got home, sat down to eat, and found very cold tater tots along with a SuperSONIC Double Cheeseburger that was not so super. The cheese was not even melted, which shows how cold the patties were. It was clear no one took the time to make sure the food was served hot. Receiving cold food is unacceptable.
I am totally disappointed with the decline in quality Sonic has come to. Sonic was not like this before, and now it is one of the last places I want to go. Horrible food and poor service.
