    Good Day!

Rainforest in Atlantic City is a sensory overload disguised as a restaurant. The moving animals are cute, the gift shop is strategically placed to drain your wallet before you even sit down, and the atmosphere is basically a jungle-themed rave.Thunderstorms booming, jungle noises shrieking, music blasting, people yelling — it’s like every sound in existence is fighting for dominance. If they turned everything down halfway, it might actually be enjoyable. The food? No. Just no. My Caribbean steak was forgettable, the sauce was broth pretending to be sauce, the rice was spicy without flavor, and the rainbow piña colada tasted like a protein shake someone forgot to sweeten.Kids had a great time with their basic nuggets, basic mac and cheese, and micro‑portion fries. Eighty dollars for that tiny serving felt like a joke.Kids? Yes. Adults? Absolutely not.

We had such a wonderful experience at Rainforest Cafe! The atmosphere was absolutely amazing and really made the entire meal feel like an experience rather than just dinner. We especially loved all of the animals and how they moved throughout the restaurant—it really brought the rainforest theme to life and made it so much fun for the whole family! The food was also delicious! Everything we ordered was tasty, fresh, and really enjoyable. A huge part of what made our visit so enjoyable was our waiter, Oshane. He was fantastic! He was friendly, attentive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Great service can truly make or break a dining experience, and Oshane definitely made ours even better. Between the delicious food, incredible rainforest atmosphere, moving animals, and Oshane’s outstanding service, we had such a memorable time. We would absolutely come back again. Five stars all around!

The service was horrible waited over an hour to get our food after we ordered it for four people my steak was like rubber and it was disgusting they burnt my sons burger buns and have the audacity to bring out a top piece of the bun after I showed them it was a rock instead of a new burger or whole new bun it took them three times to get the bun right not to mention after being there for over 2 hours the manager takes the rubberized steak off my bill and offered nothing besides another steak I was no longer interested in anything after that didn’t offer a drink or partial bill I paid $140.00 for a burger an Alfredo dinner and some other steak after they took my nasty steak off I will not go there ever again this place use to be so good I wanted to take my kids and my wife there for their first time and it was a terrible experience…the manager don’t seem to know how to handle a situation and the staff does not either if there was negative stars I’d give it -5 the steak had a weird color and the texture was disgusting my wife had the same steak hers was delicious but I was so disappointed in how it changed over the years do not go here it was terrible

We visited Rainforest Café in Atlantic City on Monday, August 10, 2026. The atmosphere was beautiful, but unfortunately, some of the employees were not. From the moment we entered, the young hostess appeared annoyed and unwelcoming. Another woman who seemed to be a manager also made me feel judged based on my appearance. I am a tattooed woman, but I am also a hardworking professional who works with the state, owns businesses, and manages within the entertainment industry. However, none of that should even matter every paying customer deserves basic respect, regardless of how they look. The most upsetting incident happened at the register. Our server explained that because my husband and I had each ordered a mojito, we were entitled to two souvenir glasses. When I presented the receipt, the cashier acted as though I were lying. I could hear her mumbling about needing to verify it because “people steal.” She then claimed the second drink was merely a refill, even though I personally ordered it after my husband kept the first mojito. Our family spent approximately $300, and this was never about the price of a glass. It was about being embarrassed and treated as though I were dishonest instead of simply and politely verifying the order with our server. I have spent much more at other establishments and happily paid because we were treated with dignity. Thankfully, I didn’t allow their attitudes to ruin my family’s time but management should understand that a beautiful restaurant can quickly lose its appeal when its employees prejudge and disrespect guests. I once met an elderly man dressed in torn pants and a torn shirt, with long, unkempt hair. I treated him respectfully, only to later discover that the Lamborghini outside belonged to him. That experience reinforced an important lesson: never judge a book by its cover. I truly hope upper management reviews who represents this location at the entrance and register. Hospitality requires warmth, professionalism, and respect. Employees who make customers feel unwelcome or accused can damage the reputation of the entire business.

My first time visiting the Rainforest Cafe in Atlantic City was a nice experience! 🌴🐒🌧️ The atmosphere really makes you feel like you’re inside a rainforest, with jungle animals, sounds, and even thunderstorms happening while you dine. It’s definitely a fun experience, especially for families and kids. Our server was very straight to the point with no real small talk, but the service was fine. I also appreciated that the manager personally takes your order if you have a food allergy, which made me feel like they take allergies seriously. For my meal, I had the salmon with grilled shrimp and vegetables. The salmon was cooked well, but it didn’t have much flavor, so I had to add salt and pepper. I asked for some chipotle BBQ sauce, and that definitely helped! The grilled shrimp were also cooked well but could have been a little juicier. The vegetables were really good, and I enjoyed the coconut shrimp too. My daughter ordered the jerk chicken & shrimp pasta and really liked it. I was also celebrating my birthday 🎉🥳, and they sang Happy Birthday and gave me a complimentary dessert, which was delicious! Overall, I enjoyed my first experience at Rainforest Cafe. The atmosphere is what really makes it special, and I would definitely recommend it for families, birthdays, and anyone looking for a fun dining experience in Atlantic City. 🌴🐘🦜
