Veronica was a light in a sea of darkness. Upon approaching the rainforest cafe, I did not know what to expect. We entered the establishment as a group and I was in fear for my life when it started thunderstorming IN the restaurant. I took cover under a table so as to not get blown away by the expected hurricane. Then sweet baby Veronica suddenly appeared and I immediately knew I was safe. She offered us chicken fingers and a thing called a “Cheetah Rita”. “When in Rome”, they say. So I dove in to the Rainforest. The storm cleared posthaste as soon as we ordered and that’s when I knew I had passed away and went to heaven. The rest of our experience fully matched that level of relief. I am still sitting at the table and I fear I never want to leave the Rainforest Cafe. I will be back here every day of my trip as many times as possible. There is the French Laundry, there is Cipriani’s, then above all, there exists a pristine surreal place called the Rainforest Cafe. Anyone who visits Atlantic City and fails to experience this cafe is doing themselves, their family, and their bloodline a disservice.

Have been coming to AC for 4 years for dance comps at showboat and have never ventured down far enough to find rainforest cafe. All other restaurants we’ve been to have been just ok for the price of service and food. Decided this year on the last night to venture down (alone with 4 kids) and found it and knew the kids would love it. Was told an hour wait and was fine with it for the experience…. We waited maybe 15 mins max. Got our table and our server Youssef came over and was immediately AMAZING with the kids!! He was energetic, quick and on top of it! He interacted with the kids in between taking our order and they all loved him! Our food came out quick and was delicious! The kids ate every last bite and asked for more chips 3 times. The bill came and it was not even close to as much as I’d think it would be (based off previous experiences at other places that were not as great). I am so happy we stopped here and all the staff was friendly and amazing! Highly recommend!!!!

We almost skipped this place because we assumed it was just another overpriced tourist restaurant, but we couldn’t have been more wrong. From the moment we walked in, the rainforest theme and fun atmosphere made the experience unique and entertaining. The food exceeded our expectations—great quality, generous portions, and very fair prices. What truly made our visit memorable was our waiter, Luka. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional throughout the entire meal. He made sure everything was perfect, checked on us regularly without being intrusive, and his friendly attitude made us feel genuinely welcome. Outstanding service like his is hard to find and deserves special recognition. The entire staff was warm and accommodating, and the occasional thunder effects and rainforest sounds added a fun touch to the dining experience. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or kids, this place is absolutely worth stopping by. We’ll definitely be back!

Such nostalgia! We had the greatest joy to bring our children here to help celebrate a family birthday. Some highlights of what to expect from our experience: • The food is consistently on-point, delicious, and nourishing. • The service is amazing! Our server Gigi was FANTASTIC! Whether keeping on top of refills, helping set the vibes, or just checking in on us regularly, Gigi genuinely showed us such care and helped us relive those childhood moments I fondly remember, decades later. • The atmosphere of rainforest sounds, animatronics, and storms really take me back with so much joy! I recall more "storm" effects as a kid (eg. fog, rain), but know health codes and regulations have changed since the '90s. So much joy and entertainment event with the changes! I highly recommend coming to the Rainforest Cafe with your family! If Gigi happens to be serving when you come, I am confident she will make the most of your occasion to help make joyous memories that will last a lifetime!

I chose this place because I love a kids themed restaurant in Atlantic City. There are so many kids here and not nearly enough activities geared towards them. My sandwich was excellent, a french dip with fries and a little side salad. The dip had excellent flavor. Even the bread was crisp and tasty. My au jus was a bit oversalted and my fries had no salt at all, so I dipped my fries in my jus and it was delicious. My caesar salad was a generous portion with lots of cheese and dressing. For $10, I wish it came with a small piece of bread & homemade croutons. The service was pretty good. I felt as if my server cared about me. My water was never refilled until I asked. I love to drink a lot of water. I would give this place four stars except the music was so loud that I left early. The song choice was not engaging. I did not know any of the music and feel as if a kids song playlist carefully curated by Rain Forest Cafe would be much more pleasant. The regular simulated thunderstorms in the building are a cool idea. However, they frightened some of the kids because they didnt know what was going on. My big caboose (aka my pregnant butt) could barely fit on my barstool. I am not that big at 180 pounds. The tvs were all playing soccer. What about a kids movie? I liked it here and I will be back. The drinks looked so good! My baby, Casper, was just a bit jostled by the loud music. The food woke her up. Thanks for a nice experience!
