  I sat down with my family at the start of happy hour. I tried to order a bottle of their sake. They don’t have any of the bottles available for happy hour. Only a $26 one, then their $5 sake drinks they only have hot not cold, then worst of all they can’t make sushi because they don’t have sushi rice. Don’t go during happy hour because none of it makes sense. We cancelled our drinks and walked out. The most bizarre experience I’ve ever had. A Japanese place with no saki and sushi.

  Pretty sure the food gave me food poisoning last night. The service was not great at all.

  There was no wait when we walked in. We were sat right next to where they put all the dirty dishes at when the restaurant was empty. I feel we could’ve gotten a better table. The waiter was tremendously kind, and very attentive. The food taste amazing but the drinks were super strong. They were not enjoyable. The price was OK will definitely come back to try different foods.

  Wow I’m this place really fell off! I’ve been coming here for years and they used to be good, but not anymore. The last time I was there, I was disappointed. The food wasn’t good. I decided to give it another try, and now I’m certain I’ll never return. Is bad enough they raised the prices, but now the food is bad! The presentation was sloppy and the food tasted bad. The dragon shrimp was burnt and hardly any sauce, the wings were a joke ($23 for 6 greasy wings you can get at any local Chinese restaurant) and the lo mein was a plate full of grease. It didn’t help that server wasn’t friendly either. I felt sick all weekend thanks to the nastiness that I ate. Save your time and money and go to Zheng Bang at Ocean Casino.

  So I decided to go here with my friend group for another friend’s birthday. After being sat down and met with odd unwelcoming looks from staff and guests, we proceeded to wait for a server. Upon his arrival he asked us what we’d like to drink and unsure of if he heard us we repeated water was fine, after this he decided not to speak to us but rather gesture, smile, and nod as we clearly asked a question. He then proceeded to walk away in the midst of me trying to ask a question as if we were not worth his time or engagement. He then tapped on another (may I note black server) and said no words but shewed him away to serve our table as if he didn’t want to serve us. The black waiter looked confused and busy as he had other tables to wait. This is when my friends and I decided to leave because never in our young adult lives have we experienced this level of racism and intolerance. It was clearly a bias and evil action that both me and my friends do not tolerate. Though we didn’t look like the other guests sitting there, existing as young and black, we were still mistreated and would not want to come to this institution again. Maybe have some discrimination and sub conscious bias based training for your staff! But let’s not allow this to happen again to anyone. :)
