- SNSondra NocellaAug 10, 20261.0So upset, we took my sister down to the golden nugget because her husband passed away hoping to cheer her up. The check in was 2 hrs late because they said there was no clean rooms, we came back in 2 hrs. And waited in line for 45 min. Then waited for are luggage to arrive which we couldn’t get ready because our luggage took forever to come. The service wasn’t friendly at all and there was really no help at the front desk. There were two pillows on the bed. They were so flimsy that your head sunk right into them. I requested to have extra pillows and waited a day and a half for them. They told me that there was no pillows. We finally received pillows so they were nice and firm which we did appreciate I tried to use the TV. There was no remote. Everyone that worked at the gold nugget was either not in a good mood or not happy working at the Golden Nugget nobody seem to No, about the $20 extra that you pay for a late checkout and comp valet. I must say that a friend of mine highly recommended the gold nugget so I figured I’d check it out to see so maybe I just happen to have a bad experience on a very busy weekend. I’m not really sure what the deal was, but it wasn’t a good experience at all thank you for listening and hoping that you could resolve. That you have with your employees or you can take care of the bad situation and give me a better experience so that I can write a nice review Thank you.

And yet, as I sit at the bar , because of their policies, I can get a drink but not one server has asked to take my food order (it has to be separate from your drink order) even after the bartender told someone I wanted to order. Why is that? I think it must be a union thing and although I have no issue at all with that, it’s why they get a bad name if that’s what it is. Very very disappointed. It’s not the first time either.
