I work for Instcart/Doordash and one night I got a delivery from this location with a lot of items and the store was closing soon. In the moment I was unaware it would have been impossible to do that large of a shop in such a short time frame as it was my first time coming to this location and the Acme by my house closes at 12am but this location closes at 11pm. When they made the announcement at 15 minutes to closing I was dumbfounded and just started rushing even though I knew I would never make it but I figured I would find as much as I could. When 11pm came around a couple employees were nasty to me telling me they are closed. I apologized but I kept shopping trying to get any extra seconds I could. Devon came out of nowhere and I explained to him the situation and he was so nice and told me don't worry about it and offered to help me find the rest of the items. He spent probably at least another 10 minutes going around to the last few aisles helping me with everything I needed to find and was just so sweet and understanding about it and it was genuine! Most employees would have only cared about closing to get home faster but Devon cared about me because it was for my job and I appreciate that immensely and I'm sure my customer appreciated it also! You need to hire more Devons, thank you again Devon!
