  A grocery run, but make it strong with the Force. This Hannaford was clean, bright, and easy to navigate, with well-stocked aisles and a good selection throughout the store. The produce section looked especially fresh and colorful, with plenty to choose from in dairy, bakery, meat, and packaged groceries. One thing to note: the seafood service counter was already closed when we stopped in around 6 p.m. If you’re looking for something fishy after the counter closes, all hope is not lost—they did have some prepackaged seafood options available in the case out front. The bakery had some fun choices too, including colorful birthday cupcakes that definitely stand out for a quick celebration treat. Overall, a solid supermarket with a comfortable layout and plenty of variety. Find what you seek here, you likely will.

  I used to love using Hannaford to go at this location. However recently one of the workers in to go has been very rude and unpleasant. This person even told us when we called to say we were running late that hannafords doesn’t hold your order when your slot time is over. I know that is false. This is also the second time half my order wasn’t in my bags. We won’t be using their to go at this location again. I’ll stick to South Barre store at least they will hold my orders right up until just before closing and they treat their customers way better.

  Went into Hannaford as usual, did my shopping for all the usuals. Went into a checkout like that a woman named heaven was operating and I asked for my milk (1/2 gal) too be double bagged because I had to go up stairs with it. Heaven proceeded to say “I don’t really think you need it in a bag” and as a elderly woman it makes me really upset that I can’t have a normal accommodation to make my life a little easier. After this rude comment she sent my loaf of bread down the belt and then proceeded to put my canned goods down the belt causing my bread to be squished and when I asked if there was someone that could get me a new one she stated that it was still edible. Overall I think this bad experience could have been avoided by a nicer employee or having an employee that cares for customer experience. This honestly made me rethink about where I should do my shopping, I’ve been a loyal shopper here for 5-6 years and have never dealt with anything like this before. Definitely should be dealt with before someone else has to deal with this young incompetent woman. Definitely a disgrace to have working at this wonderful store.
