When I was stranded in the parking lot due to a dead car battery -- and without my cellphone -- the Assistant Customer Service Manager, Bridget, came to the rescue in a BIG way! She used her own phone to find AAA's Roadside Assistance Line and called on my behalf, providing the store phone number/extension to ensure AAA had a way to reach to reach me. During an hour-long wait, Bridget repeatedly checked in with me, while I waited at the front of the store for AAA assistance. And when the tow truck didn't arrive, she AGAIN used her phone to help me call the company that received the AAA assistance call (and indicated another hour+ wait) and then, my mechanic, who promptly came to the store and got me on my way. (That's another review!) Bridget's invaluable support and assistance demonstrates her true commitment to others, which DOESN'T stop at the check-out line! She truly cares and extends herself in ways that are MOST uncommon in this day and age. Bridget is a true customer service professional, smart and practical, attentive and responsive, compassionate and helpful -- a true asset to Shaw's, I hope she will be recognized for services above-and-beyond the call of duty. Thank you, Bridget; I am beyond grateful and look forward to seeing you again when shop at Shaw's!
