Lamb Gyro was delish, even if a little well-done. Server was friendly and attentive...

Stopped in after a Fisher Cats game, had to detour to get to the place but it was worth the detour. Had three small plates, tzazici, octopus and warmed feta. Everything exceeded expectations. The waitress was friendly and attentive, and absolute gem. We got a baklava to go and it was absolutely delicious. Any trip to Manchester should include a stop at this taverna

The good: the Greek salad was good, the complimentary bread and oil was good and my husband’s lemon chicken was good. The service was respectable, as well as the time. The bad: My pasta tastes (leftovers in front of me now) like it was boiled in dish water and I can confirm it wasn’t just the ambient smell coming from the bar. The fried chicken parm was soggy and pretty gross as well. I tried my leftovers just now and it’s going in the trash. My friends at work said it’s my fault for ordering pasta at a Greek restaurant, haha! I didn’t know that to be honest, but my opinion is that everything on a menu should be good, or taken off. Which leads me to: The atmosphere and menu are confused. The menu is way too long and although there may be many things on the menu that are great, you have to waddle through a minefield of bad options to find them. Not a good approach. Its more of a bar scene. The music was way too loud and randomly, a lot of pop-country. Between my horrible food and the music, we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. The people who work there were speaking to each other across the room, so naturally screaming close to my ear in order to do so. Overall not my jam. Won’t be back, even if everyone tells me “their pizza is good”. I don’t want to be scared I’m gonna strike out again with a lousy choice.

Almost walked away. Glad we trusted the sign in the window. We were looking for pizza for the Padawan and discovered that Tommy K’s Pizza is served inside Fotia Greek Taverna. The cheese pizza arrived hot with plenty of melted cheese and a nicely browned crust. The chicken gyro was also excellent—generously filled with seasoned chicken, onions, tomatoes, and sauce. The onion rings were hot, crispy, and disappeared quickly. Both sides of the menu delivered. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the entire meal enjoyable. A great option when one person wants pizza and another is craving Greek food. A return visit, this deserves.
