Their shelf price usually turns out to go up at the register. This has happened to me several times after scrutinzing the fine print on the shelf tag. They usually try to explain this away by saying that they post membership prices which I am well aware of - but this is not that. It has happened enough where I now opt to go a little further down the street to Hanovers or Walmart where i can more easily manage my budget as I shop and not worry about the increase on my purchases when I get to the register. If you love empty isles and tricky pricing tactics than Shaws is for you. BTW- their prepackaged fried chicken in the deli section is terrible. The crispy was bland and tastless.

- THTOM HIPMay 30, 20265.0just at the Derry grocery....had somehow misplaced wallet + walking away from store when i checked pocket + no wallet! ran back to same cash register + asked whether anyone had seen wallet when a employee said yes it was picked up by another employee + brought to office whereupon the wallet returned with over $200! veryvery happy!! going to give a big tip to the employee that saved the day next time we are there!!))
