    I don’t know what happened with who they ended up hiring for the drive-through. It was an elderly lady who took my order around lunchtime today. Apparently she couldn’t hear very well from the headset. I had to repeat myself at least 10 times. And even then when I came to the drive-through, she still managed to get my order wrong. I’m assuming she doesn’t know anything about the menu. And it shows because she didn’t understand what I was saying by the hot peppers, and pickles added to my sandwich. Along with asking for a side of spicy ranch. She also handed me the wrong bag of chips. I asked for a light ice in my drink. I watched her unsanitary grab a cup and pull ice out of the bin with the same cup. Not using a scooper to get the ice out. Atrocious.

    I used to go out of my way to come to this Jimmy John’s because it was my favorite location, but after today I won’t be coming back. I placed a pickup order about 10 minutes before we even arrived and we then still sat at the pickup window for another 20 minutes waiting for our food. What’s the point of ordering ahead if the order still isn’t ready? What made it even more frustrating was watching an employee put our entire order into the bag after we had already been waiting at the window for about 10 minutes. The bag then just sat there while we continued waiting until he eventually came back and handed it to us. I thought Jimmy John’s prided itself on the speed of making their sandwiches, so having to wait this long for a pickup order is pretty ridiculous. There are multiple Jimmy John’s locations closer to us, and we specifically drove out of our way to come to this one because we preferred it. After this experience, there’s really no reason for us to make that extra trip anymore.

    I was very disappointed with the quantity and thickness of the ingredients on my sandwich. The cheese and cucumbers were sliced so thin that I could see the guacamole through the folded cheese and the tomato through the cucumber. The portions were noticeably smaller and thinner than what I receive from competing sandwich shops. I’ve included a photo showing the issue and hope Jimmy John’s will review its ingredient portioning and slicing. I gave atmosphere 3 stars because I used the drive through.
