3 weeks ago, I went to Carrabba’s restaurant to pick up a carry out order I had placed online. When I got home, I noticed I was missing part of my order. 2 soups valued at $14.00 were missing. When I called back to the restaurant and spoke to the manager, she apologized and said that I could come back and get the soup. I told her that would not be possible and was there some other way she could compensate me. She told me that she could send me something comparable to a gift card to be used on my next visit. I asked her how much the card was valued at and she stated it was $10. When I explained that wasn't even enough to cover the missing items nor my inconvenience, she seemed bothered by me. I said that she needed to give me two of them. She took my address and said she would mail them to me. Nothing ever showed up in the mail. Everyone makes mistakes. It’ how a business handles an error with a customer that can make it a returning customer or not. Good food is only part of the dining experience. Shoddy service and follow through have lost me.

**5/5 — best lasagna and bread I’ve had in ages.** The lasagna is next-level: thick pasta sheets, rich slow-cooked meat sauce, and loads of stretchy, bubbly cheese with crispy edges. Generous and comforting. The breads steal the show too. Warm focaccia with a crackly olive-oil crust, buttery garlic bread that actually has chew, and rustic ciabatta perfect for sauce. They kept bringing more. Already planning to go back.

Beware when paying with your card, waiter decided to change tip amount and added an extra 10 bucks. I noticed this 2 days later when I checked my online statement i immediately called the next morning and manager pulled the receipt and confirmed it clearly showed the amount had been altered they refunded the entire tip back to me. The waiter is lucky I decided not to call the police and press charges for theft. The food was great no complaints there. The only other negative was the dog they allowed to be in the outdoor dining area it barked excessive. Seriously dogs do not belong at restaurants.

Friday 7/17 order placed at 8:34pm, pick up at 8:55pm, whole ordeal ended at 10pm. The only thing that went right is we got our curbside on time as promised on the app. It wasn't just that our order was wrong—it was how we were treated that made this the worst experience we've ever had at any establishment, especially at a location we've visited several times before. Our order was correct except for one item. I ordered asparagus but was given mixed vegetables instead. I called, and the hostess transferred me to curbside to resolve the issue. They told me they would get the asparagus started and bring it right out. Twenty minutes later, we realized the rest of our food was getting cold, so I called again. There was no answer. I assumed the hostess was screening my phone number because she didn't pick up. We immediately called back from my boyfriend's phone, and she answered right away. We asked to speak with the manager, and the hostess replied, "I can see if he's here." I asked, "What do you mean? Who is your general manager?" She said, "Sam." I asked, "Is he here?" She responded, "I don't know. I can go see if he's here." I then asked, "So you don't know who your manager on duty is? Who is the key holder in the building right now?" She again said, "I don't know. I can go ask." Then she hung up on us. At that point, we were furious. We went inside through the curbside entrance to ask for a manager since we'd been hung up on, and by then, over 30 minutes had passed with still no asparagus. The same hostess then said, rather rudely, "I'll find a manager, but can you please wait outside since you're not supposed to be back here?" We replied that we would have waited outside if someone hadn't hung up on us. About five minutes later, the hostess, a waiter, the curbside employee, and the kitchen manager all came outside at once, almost as if they were trying to intimidate us. We explained the entire situation to the kitchen manager because the general manager, "Sam," was nowhere to be found. I can only assume he had left the kitchen manager in charge without properly communicating it to the staff. We told the kitchen manager that this location seriously needs to evaluate its staff and management because the level of customer service has declined dramatically. After speaking with us, all four employees went back inside. By this point, 45 minutes to an hour had passed. Every employee involved had made this situation much bigger than it needed to be. We told the kitchen manager, Juan, that they could keep the food—we simply wanted a refund. Another 20 minutes passed before Juan returned with another employee named Derick. They handed us a receipt showing the order had been refunded and told us they had spoken with the general manager, Sam. Then, instead of apologizing or listening to our concerns, they simply told us never to come back. We tried explaining what had happened, but Derick showed no interest in hearing our side of the story. He just kept repeating, "We ask that you never come back." I've never experienced a business that was so unwilling to listen to customer feedback or make an effort to improve. We were completely dismissed after receiving the wrong order, waiting over an hour for a missing side dish, having our food get cold, discovering there was apparently no manager on duty, and being hung up on by the hostess. By the time everything was finally resolved, we had spent an hour and a half dealing with this situation. We received a refund, but that doesn't make up for the experience. We ended up going to Firebirds instead, spent twice as much money, received outstanding service, and had an excellent meal. They never disappoint. Carrabba's should take a page from Firebirds' playbook and invest in stronger management and better customer service training. No guest should ever be hung up on, spoken to rudely, or treated the way we were. I have 15 years of experience in the service industry, and this was, without question, the worst customer service experience I have ever had.
