  TRUE WINGSTOP LOVERS - JUST DONT. I woke up Friday morning anticipating Wingstop after work. Normally I go to Sioux city, which Lincoln made me regret not sticking to that option. No way this store was trained long enough to establish wingstops flavors and cooking times. I was left so confused. I didn't know whether the manager was gaslighting me or actually trying to give good customer service. The second they placed the food in front of me I could not believe this was Wingstop. I ordered a 6 pc bone in extra crispy with sweet ice tea fries and a thing of Cajun corn. In that order. I've ordered it that way in other stores I might add. I wasn't going to say anything but as soon as I tasted the extra crispy fries that were only salted (where's the brown sugar??) I decided to speak up. I told the girl i don't know if I didn't say it correctly or you misunderstood me but I wanted the wings extra crispy and regular Wingstop seasoned fries. The manager comes back with my fries under a minute later handed me the fries and said that's how they come ... Not sure if it was the same fries or a "fresh batch". I started second guessing myself because the manager kept cutting me off and swearing this is how it's always been or the new Wingstop "ways/recipes". She mentioned the frying time has been cut down probably since the last 6 months I've been at one... She asked when was the last time I said 6 months but it's actually been less (Sioux city 3 months) Ohio and Sioux city has the food just like the Wingstop's in Texas, so for the real Wingstop lovers that know how they should taste I DO NOT recommend this store. The Cajun corn was also more salty than what they normally taste like. The wings could've been fried longer. It was so disappointing, I felt bad for being so excited to take my friends with me. One of them didn't even eat their wings and the other one didn't eat it for them because they even said the wings needed more time. (They are picky eaters but one did eat their chicken sandwich.) THATS when I knew I wasn't wrong... I wasn't trying to make a scene but the manager sure helped make one 😆 I just wanted the original Wingstop flavors. I didn't want the extra crispy salty fries... She offered to give me more seasoning after giving me a "new fresh batch"(still toasted fries)-- she did and I thought maybe she's right and it is just under seasoned...NOPE. SALTY. I'm not sure if the GM/owner didn't like the Wingstop flavors and that's why everything was only salted or the correct food drop didn't come in on time. I will stick to going to Sioux city or Omaha. Mind you I've worked at a Wingstop when I was younger, they're flavors have stayed the same, until now? I will be making a stop in Sioux city to find out if flavors have truly changed. I should've asked for my money back as soon as I got the same over cooked looking fries. After my friend was done eating another 10 minutes or more went by until I got my wings back I packed it up, we left and I threw it out. Was the oil browned? I heard the manager ask the kids cooking. Lesson learned. :(. Wow...i just read reviews after leaving my own. I regret not reading the reviews before heading there, I was definitely not the only one that knows this store needs someone that knows what Wingstop is.
