- JJJennifer JanekeMay 8, 20261.0I am very upset tonight after picking up my food at DQ on 84th and Andermatt. I went inside to order, Friday, May 8th around 6:40 pm. Two nice young boys got yelled at in front of a roomful of customers by their boss (older, black long, dreadlock hair in bun with dark skin and was a manager). She yelled and scolded the two young men that they had to switch registers and the boys said they had logged out and logged in again to the different one. She continued yelling and they had to switch or if the drawers were short it was coming out of their paychecks. These boys did as asked and didn’t say peep. I am mad at myself for not being an advocate for these two young men. There is a professional way to handle that situation and the way the boss handled it was awful. She degraded these two in front of a roomful of people and the whole store could hear her with her yelling, loud voice. I am sorry, but no one should be spoken to the way those boys were. Here I was getting a free small blizzard for teacher appreciation week while these two were getting reprimanded by their boss. She needs to go if that is how she thinks you talk to people. It was uncomfortable as a customer to hear that and the boys had to feel the hurt inside of themselves. The boss should be held accountable for her actions tonight. I have never seen that until tonight. Heartbreaking to see and listen to.
