  Their cedar plank salmon and salad bar are worth it. I’ve had several different waiters/waitresses here over the last few years. They’ve all been friendly and professional. It’s a classic sit-down atmosphere and their prices have gone up (along with everything else)… but a great celebration or solo lunch spot when you want to feel like you’re eating real food. I’d probably go here every day if my wallet didn’t prohibit it!

  Me my parents and my siblings just stopped in and ordered some food and drinks! We come from Williston ND and the waitress was very friendly and very accommodating to us! I asked about the French fries and our waitress told me the fries are very very good and she was in fact correct! I had the best time here! Only issue was finding the men’s room but once you’re in the building for a lil while you get used to it! Otherwise all is very very good! Thank you Badlands for giving me and my family a very good time at your finest local establishment! We will definitely come back here when we’re in Minot again! I rate 5 stars! Shoutout to the nice friendly waitress who gave me a very good recommendation on the French fries and also engaging in a very small but amazing conversation with my brother and sister regarding Disney films! 👍

  Had a great experience at Badlands in Minot. I sat at the bar and really enjoyed the overall ambiance—relaxed, welcoming, and a great place to unwind. I ordered the meatloaf and fried pickles, and both were outstanding. The food was flavorful, well-prepared, and honestly exceeded my expectations. Service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in Minot. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

  We had the most amazing server Tasha and manager Lori! They went out of their way to make sure the food was perfect when it wasn't right the first time! The service they provided was above any other service we experienced anywhere else. Thank you so much!
