Employees closed the lobby 20 minutes before their posted time. Then when another customer let us in, the employees were extremely rude. We left because we didn't think theyd make our food with good faith. Went to culvers instead. Will never go to this location again.

Please train your staff on how to make a mocha moo latte. I bought a large one on Friday 8/7/26 at about 5:30, which was just under $8. The closest thing I think it was was a chocolate shake with hot fudge in it? When that's my favorite thing, and all the other stores know how to make it...your store should too, especially for $8. I would have went back but I was already late for an appointment. The young lady also could have "Thank you", or really anything...but she did not, she just shut the window. Mocha moo latte is more ice based....This thing wouldnt even come out thru the straw...wasn't even close.

The good: they have a decent patio and the ice cream is generally very good. The bad: poor service and have forgotten to make my order on more than one occasion.

If I could give a 0 star review on my visit I would. This was the worst DQ experience I've ever had... and that's saying a lot. I actively avoided the location on 45th Street and Amber Valley Parkway as I've never had polite service but this location has completely soured me from ever spending money at DQ ever again. From the moment I was placing my order in the drive thru lane, the person taking my order was incredibly rude, dismissive, and acted as though I was an inconvenience. I was shocked to learn that this person was actually the manager. If this is the example of customer service being set for the rest of the staff, it's no wonder the experience was so unpleasant. The manager came across as someone who clearly didn't want to be there. Whether that's true or not, that's exactly how customers are made to feel. If someone dislikes working with people that much, they should consider a different line of work instead of taking it out on paying customers. After my visit, I read through other customer reviews, and it appears my experience wasn't an isolated incident. There seems to be a consistent pattern of complaints about poor customer service at this location, which makes it even more disappointing. Rather than being a one-time bad experience, it appears this has become the standard. Customer service costs nothing, but it makes all the difference. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete disappointment from start to finish. Based on my experience and the reviews that this location has, I won't be returning, and I certainly can't recommend this location to anyone looking for a pleasant experience.
