Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Whataburger? What a mistake!! They forgot our chicken strips, had to park and go in to get them. Then when we got home, we found all 3 burgers were loaded with mustard and no ketchup. Also , the chocolate malt wasn't chocolate. This was our first time and won't be going back. $45 wasted.

First visit and was instantly welcomed and greeted by Aaron at the counter. He was incredibly friendly and helped with our order. The food was very good. The steakhouse double burger is massive and can easily be 2 meals. The fries and onion rings are good. Grab salt when they come around with the condiments they seem to be under or unsalted. Aaron was consistently friendly with all who entered and was high fiving the kids and interested adults. Very positive vibes and experience overall.

Note: when a restaurant just opens with all NEW staff, it takes time to get everyone into a working groove. Some places do it better. The poor reviews likely reflect that time of adjustment. My experience- the gentleman who helped me was very friendly and hospitable, he gave me a suggestion for a sandwich (burger melt) that I enjoyed. The fries were good (hot- in future, I’ll get them without salt) and the combo came with a very large medium drink. I had this burger brand in Dallas. It’s very good if you want a tasty burger that feels more homemade. Definitely better than aval or smack D’s. I’m from Los Angeles and it’s even better than In & Out! Sincerely, Boss lady… with the short fro. Lol.

I am posting this review and I truly hope that not the manager, but the person who invested in this building and who decided to bring it to this location a year ago will see this. My family was really excited for this location. The two times that I have been there. The workers are extremely rude and could care less about the customer service aspect. I truly think revenue would boost 10x If the workers were more Hospitable Because every time I drive by there’s nobody in line, but when it was opening, there was a bunch of people, but they all got a little taste of how customer service was and did not want to come back. My family is an exact example. I hope you see this review and I hope that you honestly find a new team or figure out a new plan because in three or four years you are going to be forced to shut down and you’re not going to have any money. I promise I’ve seen this on a business I’ve worked too many times in my day

We waited over 35 minutes for two burger combos that weren’t very good at all fallen all apart. The buns were dry. Worst fast food experience ever don’t waste your money save it and spend it elsewhere. Be honest with you. The new Burger King whopper is way better. if they keep doing what they’re doing, they won’t be in business long. If Google reviews would let me give it zero stars that’s where I would be at.
