Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This location can be frustrating due to the staff's lack of urgency and general customer care. It does seem to be getting better though. It seems like they have a new manager and he must be having an impact on things. I hope it continues because I really want this place to succeed.
- DRDakoyta RumseyJun 12, 20265.0I usually swing by here pretty late because it's the only fast food restaurant that is open late and has service halfway worth of crap at that time. All the other fast food restaurants that are open until midnight or 2:00 or whatever have the worst possible service and food quality. Every single time I've gone to Wendy's or Taco Bell or whatever after like 11:00 the food is always terrible. But not here, there has been a few times I have come at 2 or 3:00 in the morning after I finish my doordashing and there is only one dude working the whole store. While he might take 15 minutes to get your food, he's the one taking your order and processing the payment, and cooking the food, and watching the fryer, and filling up the drink, everything, and has a FANTASTIC attitude doing it. The food here is always hot and fresh, but most of all it's delicious. And also their milkshakes are incredible, don't judge me for this but another big plus in their column is the 32 oz milkshake that they sell. My fat butt loves them lmao.

I pulled up to the actual window and waited to see if anyone came around so I could let them know people were waiting, and never saw a single person there, either. I thought about going in, but…why? It’s 11:00 a.m. and not very busy apart from the handful of diners that I noticed inside when leaving the drive-through. Why should I expect better service, at this point?
