  Better service than I was expecting. Pretty ok store. Nothing mind blowing tho. Don't expect to be greeted or anything like that but that's all I would change ( that and the prices lol )

  The store need more scooters in there I was informed they only have one.there are no excuse for that.in this area including me are senior and disability people..I couldn't shop there and had to go to Peter's Creek foodlion..they don't look out people that have a disability please work on that

  Aside from the employees that are in customer service telling me that I am not able to get the double money back guarantee that everyone knows Food Lion has had for years and years. These employees told me that I would need to do an even exchange for my item because since the price was high it makes it ineligible for the double money back guarantee. Well I guess that maybe these employees don't have a clue what their own store has in place, as far as corporate company policies. It's not up to you to decide to change that policy upon your own opinionated judgement towards someone. When I spoke with a very courteous and friendly lady at the corporate office (oh yeah, I had to pull my Karen out for this one) I was told exactly what I thought the policy was, if a customer is not satisfied with the product for any reason at all, they are entitled to get a double money back guarantee for the price of the product. Also you can take any item back to any store in your area. I've been told countless times that I have to take it back to the store I bought it from and they would refuse to do my refund. Now at least I have confirmed these rules, policies and standards for Food Lion and I know now what I, being a customer, am supposed to be able to do and get done.Employees, managers, etc. can not refuse to give you this refund because it's not individual store policy it's up to corporate to make the call on rules and regulations for their stores. Since you are working at Food Lion then it is your obligation to uphold the policies and standards and also rules for customer service support since you are in a customer service position. I hope that this store will be able to get some more training for their employees. Which most of them are extremely friendly and very helpful and nice. It's only a few up front that treat me in some kind of way and I really do not want to stereotype this situation, however, sometimes it does feel like I am being treated as something that I am not. Hope you guys can get your own selves together and bring a good positive attitude and outlook with you when you come to work because your customers are simply shopping for their own families and have nothing to do with your lives or anything going right or wrong. So please don't take your stress out on us that stems from somewhere else. Work is work period and you should leave your personal problems at home or in the car don't bring it to work with you.

  Best Foodlion in Winston ! the cashiers were incredibly nice they helped me with everything me and my family needed definitely recommend.
