- TDTracey Daughtry3 days ago2.0So I stopped at this McDonald's with my daughters today. They handed us our bag and we were missing two orders of fries and the bbq sauce for my daughter's chicken nuggets. I sat at the window instead of driving off and waited for the cashier to open the window. I told her what we were missing and also asked for straws. She made me show her the contents of the bag the packing slip stuck to the outside like I was lying. She acted annoyed because I asked for what I paid for. When she brought the fries and sauce, she said "You don't get straws with those drinks. The lid is made for sipping." I pointed to my daughter, who is disabled, and said "She needs a straw and my other daughter got a Dirty Dr. Pepper, doesn't that need a straw?" She don't give straws, it's like Starbucks now." I looked online when I got home, and their policy says they give straws a upon request and with drinks like milkshakes, frappes and others that are topped with whipped cream. I will also say that Starbucks has never refused to give me a straw for myself or my daughter..They still have straws. They didn't stop carrying straws. My daughter has cerebral palsy and it is very hard for her to drink out of a cup lid, especially in a moving vehicle. This was completely unacceptable.
