  The best, consistently delicious. Definitely our go to dinner or lunch spot. Braelynn is our favorite waitress! So friendly and attentive!

  Can't go wrong at either place. Porters neck is my first visit. Just moved back home and didn't know they had a 2nd one. More food then o could eat so I brought it home

  I recently visited K38 Baja Grill in the Porters Neck area and overall had a solid experience, with a few things worth noting. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, with a beachy, Baja-inspired vibe that fits the menu well. The staff was friendly and generally attentive, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The tacos and seafood options were flavorful, and portions felt fair for the price. It’s the kind of place that works well for a laid-back dinner or a casual night out with friends. That said, there were a couple of concerns. Service felt a bit inconsistent at times—some tables around us seemed to get checked on more frequently while we had to wait to get refills or flag someone down. Also, while the food was good, it wasn’t always hot when it arrived, which took away slightly from the experience. The noise level can also get pretty high when it’s busy, making conversation a bit difficult. Overall, it’s a decent spot with good food and a fun vibe, but there’s room for improvement in consistency and attentiveness. I’d go back, but probably during a less busy time to get the best experience.

  They advertise a 5 dollar menu - but it doesnt start at lunchtime - only dinner this week for cinco de mayo. SO, today I ordered nachos for lunch. It took a long time to be delivered, but I sent them back becase the food was cold. It seemed like they poured the liquid cheese on top, and didnt even bake them in the oven. The waitress returned with a replacement, and they were only slightly warmer - lukewarm at best. I think the food quality here has gone downhill since Josh, the founder passed away. And for tex-mex - the prices were stupid! 13 bucks for a fish taco?!? I have eaten at other K-38s (especially the beach and on oleander). The salsa is usually the best in town (today's salsa in Ogden was mediocre). The other two restaurants - I have found the food to be much better.

  Real cozy atmosphere with cool Craftsman style features. Nice exposed beams and rustic ceiling. Service was quick, friendly, and on time with drink refills, couldn't have been better. Food was incredible! The bill was surprisingly lower than expected. Highly recommended!
