  I visited Food Lion on Wednesday to grab a few items, and by Saturday I received a call that my card had been compromised. What makes this even more concerning is that my daughter experienced the same issue just two weeks earlier after shopping at another Food Lion location. I specifically remember going into a cashier’s line, but instead of checking me out directly, I was pointed to use the self-checkout machine. I can’t say with certainty where the breach happened, but the timing is extremely suspicious and enough to make me uncomfortable. Buyers, please be aware and monitor your accounts closely after shopping.

  Saturday at noon...not a single register open, only self-checkout. This is extremely inconvenient when multiple people have whole cart loads to scan & the self-checkout has a small little area with only two bag holders.

  Check out was difficult as attendant was holding a personal conversation with someone abd ignoring the line to check out one register open It was rude.

  Left a bag of groceries here, called and was told to come get them they had it. Came back and was refused help by mgmt and staff as “they couldn’t verify who was working at the time” Why I expected anything more from the worst ran food lion in town is on me. Could have just told me no but instead had me drive back just to argue with me and send me on my way.
