We went here because of the raving online reviews and the mission statement of the business that stated “everything on our menu is under $10”. However, when we went there we found a cramped space with insufficient seating inside and a dilapidated outdoor space that was very dirty, unmanaged, and with junk sitting all around. The photos online and reviews do not match the reality of this place. The food was rather expensive for the portion size. Especially the Açaí bowl which I cannot fathom that being the best Açaí bowl in Wilmington. Playa bowl’s products are bigger less expensive and much tastier. They’re also much faster! With a little tweaking here and there they could do much better! For now, we will not return.
