This was a great diversion from the norm. Visting the area and everyone we asked said "Deadwood". Kinda like a mix of western town, board walk, old movie star restaurant vibe going on. Coy fish pond upon walking in over board walk. Humongous Indian Teepee just right there. Restaurant to be a little older was exceptionally clean. Since our table had a clear view of some of the open side of kitchen, I was fascinated and memorized by the cook turning the steaks with ease that looked like 6 people could collectively eat! If you are in the area stop by definitely. Thank goodness the lady at the hotel said, You might want to go on out there today(Sunday), I think they are closed 1st part of the week. So YES, it was worth the drive to "Out In The Middle Of Nowhere"!

Deadwood is a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. We didn’t know about it before staying at the campground across the way. They have a playground for the kids, are working on revamping a lot of the attractions there that have not worked in a while, but the food, the food is what it’s all about. They quite possibly have the best ribs I’ve ever eaten in my life!

45 minute wait for a table. No big deal because they have an arcade, train, mini golf, coffee shop, etc. Wrong. Arcade has 5 games that steal your money or don't dispense prizes. Train isn't running. Mini golf is "under construction" and the coffee machine is broken.... Finally got seated and order. Appetizer came in about 15 minutes and after an hour and one single visit from our waitress I couldn't wait anymore. I got up and asked our waitress what was going on and she said that we put in our order right after a big party so it got slowed down but it would be right out. (this seems to a common excuse they use if you read some of the other reviews.) We ended up canceling the order 10 minutes later. I paid $26 for a sprite, water and "cow chips". We were there for a total of 2 hours and still had to go to another restaurant to eat dinner. 0/10 would never come back.

Kind of an old run-down western town type of restaurant in the middle of nowhere. The train wasn't working due to the Rain. The teepees needed to be redone they were tore apart. It looks like they were redoing some of the grounds but this place needs to be fully redone so it could be up and running and fun for people. The restaurant inside was a nice Western vibe. The food was not worth the price tho. I did like my barbecue chicken but the sides and my potato skins were not so good.
